Burger restaurant near Seoul Station: All Mighty Burger at Wit&Meat
In short
Wit&Meat Seoul Station is a handmade burger restaurant on the lobby floor of the Grand Central building in Jung-gu, Seoul, about one minute from Exit 4 of Seoul Station. The order was the All Mighty Burger with a 100% beef patty (no pickles) and the Chili Cheese Bacon Burger set with the chef's own ragu-style sauce, eaten in an open-kitchen space modelled on an American subway station. Today I'm bringing you a review of a really good burger place I found near Seoul Station. I don't usually eat burgers that often and I'm not exactly a burger person, but Wit&Meat changed my mind. It was way better than I expected. Let's get into it!
Where Wit&Meat Seoul Station is and how to walk there from Exit 4
Wit&Meat Seoul Station is only about a 1-minute walk from Exit 4 of Seoul Station. It's on the 1st floor of the Grand Central building, so it was really easy to find coming from the station. There are often exhibitions nearby too, so it could make a nice combo — check out an exhibition, then grab a good lunch.

Once you walk into the building and go straight, the restaurant is on the right side. The exterior is clean and simple, so it caught my eye even while walking by. Easy access near Seoul Station is definitely one of its biggest advantages.
Wit&Meat's menu and the two burgers ordered
Wit&Meat's menu is made up of burgers, sandwiches, set menus, and various sides. There were more burger options than I expected, so I spent a while going back and forth over the menu.

Everything looked good, so it was hard to choose, but I ended up ordering the All Mighty Burger with the pickles left out. I also got the Chili Cheese Bacon Burger set.
American subway-themed interior and open kitchen
The interior at Wit&Meat was really pretty. They say the space is modeled after an American subway station, and it definitely has that current, hip-but-clean vibe going on.

The kitchen is set up open-style, so you can actually watch the food being made. Since they show the whole cooking area, it gave off a sense of confidence about hygiene and cleanliness. The trendy atmosphere also makes it a solid spot for a casual meal with friends or a date.
What's on the self-serve bar at Wit&Meat
The self-serve bar at Wit&Meat Seoul Station has wet wipes, napkins, plastic gloves, and utensils. Having plastic gloves was great for eating burgers without worrying about getting sauce all over my hands. You just grab as many straws as you need from there too.

Pepper, salt, hot sauce, mustard, and ketchup were also available. You scoop out just as much as you need into a paper dish, so you can season things exactly to your taste.

For a burger place, these came out looking really pretty! I guess food really is something you eat with your eyes first and your mouth second.
How did the All Mighty Burger taste?
Honestly, I don't eat burgers that often and I'm not a huge fan, so I wasn't expecting much — but the All Mighty Burger at Wit&Meat was genuinely delicious!!

First off, the 100% beef patty was fantastic. From the first bite you get that deep, rich meaty flavor — it really felt like a proper American-style burger.

It's the kind of flavor that makes you a little worried about your arteries, but isn't that part of the charm of a good burger haha. If you're into rich American-style burgers, I think you'll really love this.

The deep meat flavor, the savoriness of the cheese, the saltiness of the bacon, and the crunch of the vegetables all came together better than I expected. There's a generous amount of filling, but everything worked together in one bite instead of fighting each other.
Personally, the All Mighty Burger was my favorite thing I ate that day. Even someone who's not a big burger person like me found it delicious — so much so that if I'm ever back near Seoul Station, I'd definitely want to eat it again.
The Chili Cheese Bacon Burger set with ragu-style sauce
Next up is the Chili Cheese Bacon Burger. This one had a completely different vibe from the All Mighty Burger. The sauce reminded me a bit of the tomato or ragu sauce you'd find in lasagna — apparently it's a special sauce the chef developed himself. If you like ragu sauce, this one's especially for you.

There's quite a lot of sauce, so with every bite you got a strong hit of that rich sauce flavor. The salty notes of meat, cheese, and bacon combined with the deep tomato-based flavor for a pretty bold, intense taste.

Can't forget the fries that came with the set. Salty and crispy, they were perfect to eat between bites of the burger. I got so into eating that I basically finished them without realizing it haha.
Is Wit&Meat Seoul Station worth a visit?
Wit&Meat Seoul Station has a hip, clean atmosphere that works well for both dates and meals with friends. But what really stuck with me was how good the All Mighty Burger was, even though I don't usually eat burgers that often. If you're looking for a burger spot near Seoul Station, I'd say it's worth a visit.
