Why I Went to Freewill Pizza in Jeonpo

Freewill Pizza is a pizza place near Jeonpo Station that I had saved for a while, and this time I finally went. Jeonpo has lots of bars, but these days it's also fun for finding places where you can have a proper meal with a nice atmosphere, so I end up there often.

I like pizza, and I'd been looking for a good pizza place in Jeonpo. Freewill Pizza had decent reviews and a varied menu, so I'd been curious about it.

Freewill Pizza is close to Jeonpo Station, so it's easy to reach. If you have plans in Jeonpo or are coming over from Seomyeon, it's not a hassle, and it wasn't hard to find. I strolled along taking in the alley vibe and got there in no time.

I went on a weekday and was a little surprised by how many people there were. I assumed weekdays would be relaxed, but lots of tables were already eating and guests kept coming in. I guess a popular place isn't quiet just because it's a weekday! My expectations went up a bit as soon as I walked in.

Is Freewill Pizza a Good Spot for a Date?

The restaurant wasn't too noisy and felt comfortable for a meal. It would work for friends and suit a date too. The tables aren't cramped either, so it was easy to chat while eating.

When I sat down and looked at the menu, there were more kinds than I expected, so it was hard to decide. With so many pizzas, picking just one felt like a shame, but luckily half-and-half is available~~

After some thought, we ordered half egg potato pizza and half hot chicken shrimp pizza, and added garlic butter fries as a side. There were two of us and we wanted to try a bit of everything, and the combination turned out great.

As we ate, the portion was big enough that from about halfway we both kept saying we were full. With generous toppings and the dough too, it was an amount two people could enjoy to their satisfaction. With the side on top, it felt like a really solid meal.

Freewill Pizza had a nice atmosphere and decent serving speed, so overall it was a satisfying meal. Seeing people keep coming in on a weekday, I thought, there's a reason for that.

If you're looking for a great pizza place in Jeonpo or a comfortable spot for a date meal, Freewill Pizza is worth a visit. If you like half-and-half pizzas, I'd recommend the egg potato and hot chicken shrimp combo. Adding garlic butter fries made the spread well rounded and even more satisfying.
