I hadn't had flashy, punchy Mexican food in ages, so one day I texted my sister and we suddenly headed to Eat's Mexican, a Mexican spot in Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, haha. They have tons of tasty things, from tacos to burritos, quesadillas, fajitas and more, but I'll focus on what I liked best in this review!

What are the atmosphere and seating like?
The restaurant is spacious, with tables for 2 and 4 plus separate group seating. Oh my, is this Mexico?! The vibe was so hip that I actually thought so.

I went as if doing a department store opening run and walked in right when it opened. The place is big, and the atmosphere felt colorful and lively.

There are tables for 2 and 4, and a separate area for groups too!

Tell the front desk you're here, and a staff member comes to take your order!

Oh, and in the middle of the restaurant there's a self-serve water area, and every table has tissues, wet wipes and hot sauce, just so you know!
What's on the menu at Eat's Mexican?
Eat's Mexican Pangyo is packed with the classics of Mexican food: quesadillas, bowls, burritos, tacos, chimichangas and fajitas. The menu has the phrase "EAT FRESH & STAY HEALTHY" written on it.

You can order à la carte, so it's no pressure for solo takeout, and with a group, something like fajitas is just perfect~! There were plenty of other set menus too.

Each table has a kiosk where you can see the menu with photos and detailed descriptions. Depending on the dish, you can pick the main ingredient to suit your taste, whether chicken, beef or shrimp~! There's even a taco where you can choose your own ingredients!
What's in the Eat's Combo Platter, and how does it taste?
The Eat's Combo Platter is a 2-person set listed at 37.9, and my sister and I ordered it to share. We'd originally planned to order two single dishes and keep it simple, but the price was similar~ and once I saw this, no other menu item caught my eye, haha

Chipotle cream pasta and shrimp
It's a really well-packed platter, and what impressed me most was the signature Eat's pairing: pasta and chicken burrito on a warm grill with chipotle cream sauce! Doesn't it look so appetizing?

The chipotle cream sauce is thick and a little spicy, with a clean finish, and it goes so well with the pasta noodles~!

And the plump, bouncy shrimp, need I say more? Simply delicious, haha. For an exotic flavor, Mexican food is the way to go, and it was a choice with no regrets :)

A chicken burrito packed full
And the chicken burrito inside, wow, how can it be stuffed this generously?! Poke it with a fork, slice it with a knife, and all the ingredients come together in one bite, with a really full feeling, haha. It's hugely satisfying, haha.

Guacamole, sour cream, nachos and buffalo wings
The sauces, guacamole and sour cream and all, are so good too! I heard they make every sauce in-house, so maybe that's why it tasted even better! With sauces this good, I'm definitely coming back for the fajitas at Eat's Mexican some day.

Crunch, crunch! The crispy nachos are heavenly dipped in whichever sauce you like!

The buffalo wings served alongside were so good I thought, why is this so tasty?, with wide eyes, haha.

A generous portion, with 2 tacos included
Oh, and the Eat's Combo Platter even includes 2 tacos! It's a 2-person platter, but the portion is so hearty that 3 people could almost eat it. It was filling and delicious, and you get to try a variety of things, so I definitely recommend it!
Ordering tips at Eat's Mexican: set upgrade and takeout
Even when you order a single dish at Eat's Mexican, you can change the option to a set, so I recommend switching to a set. Of leftovers, tacos can be packed to go, but pasta can't.

My sister and I said the same thing as if we'd rehearsed it: the fries, buffalo wings and nachos were the real kick, beyond our expectations, haha. So if you go to Eat's Mexican at Hyundai Pangyo, I recommend the Eat's Combo Platter, and when you order other single dishes~! you can change the option to a set! So I strongly recommend switching to a set!!! haha

The Eat's Combo Platter I'm recommending is a 2-person set, but the portion is really big. Two tacos, buffalo wings, fries, nachos, a variety of sauces~ and the main dishes, pasta and burrito, are generous too~! So we couldn't finish it all~ The leftover pasta can't be packed, but leftover tacos can, so I took them home and ate them up happily. Since it's hot out, I recommend eating packed food within 2 hours!

And you can't miss a review event these days~! If you join the Naver receipt review event, you can get nacho chips or a soft drink, so definitely take part! The set I recommended doesn't include a drink, so I suggest getting a drink through the review event!
How to get to Eat's Mexican Hyundai Pangyo
From Pangyo Station, take the exit connected to Hyundai Department Store, and Eat's Mexican is right on your left. If you use the department store escalators or elevators, head toward the subway connecting passage and it's easy to find~! It's next to the Chinese restaurant Sinseung Banjeom (신승반점)!

It's super close to the station, and it's a Mexican spot in the Hyundai Pangyo basement food court! Colorful, flavorful Mexican food! When you want tacos, burritos and other Mexican dishes, I recommend Eat's Mexican Hyundai Department Store Pangyo! And do try the Eat's Combo Platter I recommended!
