I was looking for an exotic-feeling restaurant in Magok and ended up at Taqueros! The moment I walked in, it felt like I'd landed in South America, which I loved.
The food was generous overall and pretty satisfying. Especially the pork ribs — the amount of meat was way more than I expected, which honestly shocked me.

The atmosphere and seating at Taqueros Magok Main Branch
The vibe at Taqueros was really good from the moment I stepped in.
True to a Mexican restaurant, the exotic interior made me feel like I was briefly traveling in South America. It's noticeably more distinctive than a typical family restaurant, so it would work well as a date spot too.

They said the group tables can seat up to 16, so it looks like a good spot for work dinners or gatherings too. Overall, the space felt comfortable yet exotic, which made the meal more fun.

There's sofa seating too, so it's comfortable for a relaxed meal — it also seemed like a fine spot for a family dinner.
The 56,000-won signature couple set, starting with nachos & cheese sauce
Taqueros Signature Couple Set 56,000 won / for 2

Nachos & cheese sauce The nachos came out first, before the main meal!

It's a simple dish — crunchy nachos dipped in cheese sauce — but the cheese sauce was tastier than I expected.

The sauce wasn't runny at all; it was thick and rich with a strong cheese flavor, so paired with the nachos, my hand kept reaching for more.

We ended up getting a refill on the nachos haha. It was the perfect light snack while waiting for the main dish.

What comes in the fish taco and chicken taco?
The main item we ordered this time was the Taqueros Signature Couple Set! It comes with pork ribs, 2 tacos, and both a fish taco and a chicken taco. Drinks are not included in the set.
It was a pretty generous spread for two people, and especially the amount of pork rib meat surprised us — way more than we expected.
The fish taco! The fish inside was plumper than I expected, which I loved. With the tortilla and various ingredients coming together, each bite had a nice range of textures, and I could really taste that distinct exotic flavor of Mexican food.

The chicken taco was good too — the meat inside was quite plump and filling. Having one fish taco and one chicken taco each meant the flavors were different, so it was fun comparing the two as we ate.

Tacos look small on the outside, but they're surprisingly filling once you actually eat them — and here, the filling is generous, so even one piece was quite satisfying.

I don't usually eat tacos that often, but these were tasty without being overwhelming, so I think even beginners would enjoy them.

Taqueros pork ribs — just how much meat is on them?
And the most impressive dish of the day was the pork ribs! There was seriously an insane amount of meat.

When I hear 'pork ribs,' I usually picture picking meat off the bone, but here the meat was so generous that you saw the flesh before you even noticed the bone.
One bite in, the meat was tender and the flesh thick, so it properly filled me up.

Compared even to the pork ribs at VIPS or Outback, the difference in meat quantity was clear. The style is a bit different, of course, but this definitely gave off that 'I came here for ribs' feeling.
Even I, someone who usually eats a lot, ended up unable to finish it all haha.

It's a couple set for two, but with the tacos plus the ribs, we were genuinely stuffed. If you want to eat generously, this set combo seems like a good pick.

We finished it off with a cold Coke~
Final verdict
Final verdict: Ribs, good! Next time, chimichanga

Taqueros let us enjoy generous Mexican food in an exotic atmosphere! The sheer amount of meat on the pork ribs was especially memorable. Great vibe, great food — good! Next time I'll have to come back for the chimichanga.
