Ever since I worked near Magok, there’s been one genuinely great restaurant I visited easily three or four times, practically like a regular! All my coworkers loved it too, so I went back after a long time with a friend to enjoy some delicious meat.
As soon as you order, the staff grill the meat perfectly at another charcoal table and bring it over ready to eat, so your clothes pick up less smell and you can relax with top-quality ogyeopsal. I’m going to share all the details of my visit to Tamra Factory, the perfect Magok spot for a special-day gathering or a hearty dinner after work! 🥩✨
Tamra Factory Magok Direct Store: location and hours
Tamra Factory Magok Direct Store is at Units 104 and 131, 1F, Magok Inner Mass, 21 Magokjungang 6-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. It is close to Exit 3 of Magok Station, making it an accessible Magok meat restaurant where you can comfortably enjoy delicious ogyeopsal and other meats!
A comfortable setting for company dinners and group gatherings

I often came here for company dinners when I was working before, and the layout really could not be better for group gatherings. The restaurant has plenty of table space, and if you ask when your group is large, they can smoothly join several tables together.
I have so many good memories of visiting with a group, all sitting together and enjoying a lively meal without any discomfort. There are so many offices nearby, so I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a Magok company-dinner spot with delicious food after work!!
Jeju female black pork ogyeopsal and generous banchan

The main dish my friend and I ordered that day was the restaurant’s signature Jeju female black pork ogyeopsal! True to the name “Tamra Factory,” the quality of the meat is really on another level. The ogyeopsal comes with the skin attached, so the more you chew, the springier and nuttier the texture becomes—absolute perfection.

And once you place your order, the staff grill it themselves at another charcoal table and bring it over at its most delicious, perfectly cooked stage—so there is absolutely no need to struggle over the grill yourself.

Your clothes take on much less meat smell, and you can eat in comfort, which is seriously the best. They grilled it so springy and delicious.. We could just talk and happily eat the prepared meat when it arrived, which was so easy and nice.

The complimentary banchan (Korean side dishes) are wonderfully generous too: kimchi, green-onion kimchi, pickled radish wraps, seasoned bean sprouts, acorn jelly, pickled perilla leaves, and myeongi namul (pickled wild garlic leaves)—all perfect partners for the meat!!

And this meljeot (Jeju-style salted anchovy sauce) is the key... Dip the meat in deeply, almost like you’re soaking it, then eat it with the chilies in the sauce—that’s it. Seriously delicious!! This place suddenly becomes Jeju..

Pile whichever side dishes you like onto lettuce or perilla-leaf wraps, make a proper little wrap, and before you know it, the compliments just come out on their own.
Icy naengmyeon with ogyeopsal

With a cold beer on the side... the dish I had actually been thinking about the entire time we were enjoying the meat was naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles)! It is such a shame when naengmyeon is missing from a meat meal, isn’t it?

I was craving naengmyeon so badly that I ordered it right away to eat alongside the ogyeopsal, and of course, the meat-plus-naengmyeon combination can never fail....

The naengmyeon was full of tiny ice crystals, and placing one chewy piece of ogyeopsal on top of the icy, sweet-and-tangy broth was honestly so delicious..
A Magok meat restaurant with all my old company-dinner memories
This is a place full of memories from my old working days, but it still delivers the same excellent flavor and kind service, so every visit leaves me completely satisfied. The quality Jeju female black pork, comfortable grilling service, and filling side dishes are all perfect, making it a reliably happy meal anytime.
If you want to shake off the day’s fatigue with delicious meat on your way home from work, please do visit at least once. It will be a wonderful Balsan Station meat restaurant—and the best Magok meat restaurant—you will not regret choosing!!!!! 💛✨
