600g pork platter for two sisters at a Geomdan charcoal-grill
In short
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch is a charcoal-grill pork restaurant in Geomdan, Incheon, with an old-school neighborhood diner vibe. The writer and her older sister ordered the ₩35,900 pork platter (600g) plus a ₩4,900 bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles), and the 600g turned out to be so generous for two that they left some hangjeongsal and galmaegisal behind. Friendly owners, great prices, and huge portions — this Geomdan pork restaurant is a keeper.

A killer-vibe old-school restaurant popped up at Geomdan intersection. I'd noticed it in passing before — always packed with people — and I'd been curious ever since. So my sister and I finally went to check out Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch.

How big is the dining room? Big enough for groups and work dinners
The indoor dining room was bigger than I expected. What you see from the entrance isn't even the half of it — it goes back pretty deep. A group of about 8 people rolled in and the place kept absorbing more. Looked great not just for family meals but for friend hangouts and work dinners too.

Menu and prices: ₩35,900 for the pork platter
Prices at Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch are insanely good value. They have this menu literally called the "pork han-geun" (a Korean unit for about 600g), and it's in the ₩30,000s. For ₩35,900 you get pork belly, pork neck, jowl meat, back meat, skirt meat, and skin. So cheap it makes for a stress-free spot to grab a drink.

Side dishes and self-bar setup
The banchan (side dishes) came out really neatly arranged, and they set up bean sprouts, kimchi, and garlic on the grill for us to cook. There's also a self-serve bar stocked with pickled radish, wrap greens, and even pineapple and bean flour >,.<//

600g pork platter — how much is that for two people?
The ultimate value menu: the pork platter. It came with pork belly, neck, jowl, back meat, skirt meat, and skin, totaling 600g. That's plenty for two people — honestly enough for three!! You can also order extra in 100g increments, which is convenient.

The frozen radish salad is a specialty
Is this... radish salad? I'd never had frozen musaengchae (spicy radish salad) before — apparently it's the signature specialty here.
Cool and tangy, it's the perfect match with the meat!

Ahh- snacking on pineapple while the meat cooks..!! Potatoes and mushrooms came out too, great for grilling alongside. There were plenty of side menu options, and since bibim naengmyeon was only ₩4,900, I ordered it right away.

Pork belly first
Quality you wouldn't believe for this price!!! Pork belly's my favorite cut, so I grilled that first and it was so good.

And you get wrap greens to eat it with too!! I was so happy a laid-back pork restaurant like this opened up in Geomdan. Even more surprising — it's a pork restaurant that also serves grilled scallops, mackerel, razor clams, sea squirt, and abalone lol

First time trying dwitgogi (back meat)
This was my first time trying dwitgogi at Euljiro Yeontan Gui — more tender and tasty than I expected. Cut in these thick, chunky slices, it has its own charm. But there's a lot of it, so you need to pace yourself strategically. By the end we were so full we had to leave some hangjeongsal and galmaegisal behind — such a waste, ㅠ

₩4,900 bibim naengmyeon, also makeable as mul-bibim
Even stuffed, you can't skip the bibim naengmyeon — such a sweet price at ₩4,900!! You get a full-size naengmyeon for the price of a dessert-course one~~ They also had bibimbap, doenjang jjigae, and kalguksu on the menu.

They gave us broth with a light slush of ice on top too, so I could turn it into mul-bibim naengmyeon (with broth)...!!! >0< The bibim naengmyeon was a bit spicy for someone who can't handle heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, I'd recommend setting aside some of the sauce before mixing.

Last up: hangjeongsal, galmaegisal, and skin
The final act of the pork platter — hangjeongsal, galmaegisal, and skin..!! 600g was really a lot for two women to finish. I love hangjeongsal and galmaegisal so much, so it was a shame we got too full and had to leave a little behind..!!

Would I go back? Final verdict
Next time my goal is to finish the whole platter without leaving anything behind at this new Geomdan intersection pork restaurant, Euljiro Yeontan Gui Majeon Branch. The owner was so kind, the old-school vibe was great, the prices were excellent value, and the taste was out of this world.
