Dog food for a senior Miniature Pinscher: Dermadog

Dugi lives with Mom and Dad and is already a Miniature Pinscher over 10 years old~ Since Dugi is getting older, Mom wants to switch to better food and worries more about health, haha. So this time, I tried switching to Dermadog Probiotic Gut dog food, which is good for the gut!

Dermadog was new to me, but it has no gluten, no artificial colors, no sweeteners, and no artificial flavors, so it seems like food made with dogs' health in mind. That made me trust it.

Dermadog Probiotic Gut Dog Food
The Probiotic Gut dog food can be fed from 3 months of age.
- Recommended daily amount: extra-small dogs (under 3 kg), 40 g
- Small dogs (3–5 kg), 70 g
- Medium and large dogs (over 5 kg), 100 g
The 2 kg food comes portion-packed in bags, so it is hygienic and easy to serve. You can check the kibble shape without opening it, and the illustration of a dog that looks like it is eating kibble is so cute, haha.
Dermadog Probiotic Gut food has flat, triangular kibble pieces about 8 mm wide, making it easy to feed from puppies to senior dogs. It is also a low-molecular-weight hydrolyzed-protein food, so there is less risk of allergic reactions and it felt safe and easy to approach when changing foods. It also has less oil than other foods and is said to support comfortable digestion, so it was perfect for Dugi, who has a huge appetite and gulps everything down. Dugi eats too fast, gets indigestion, and has tummy aches..ㅠㅠ
You all probably know that you should not give only the new food right from the start when changing foods, haha. Mix it with the existing food over about 7–10 days, gradually increasing the amount.

Skin, Coat, and Oral Health Dental Chews
All dogs from 3 months old onward can eat these.

They tear easily, so you can divide them into different sizes for walks, training, and play. The layered air pockets also make these dental chews capable of gently removing tartar deep around the molars.
