Korean lash lift for fine, long lashes in Gangnam: On The Boutique

It's been a while since I posted in my beauty folder!

I'd been slacking on maintenance lately... and while working out I caught myself in the mirror and my face looked pretty rough, you know?

So I was debating lash extensions versus a lash lift, and since I heard there's a place that does lash lifts that look just like extensions, I went back for the nth time to On The Boutique near my office :) Recommending it for anyone searching Gangnam lashes or Seolleung lashes.

Where On The Boutique is and its opening hours

On The Boutique is located at 1F, Unit 201, 7 Bongeunsa-ro 52-gil, Gangnam-gu. Hours are 08:00–22:00, and reservations are required.

It's 91m from Exit 4 of Seonjeongneung Station, less than a minute's walk. From Seolleung Station Exit 7 it's about 980m / 10 minutes on foot, 980m from Gangnam-gu Office Station Exit 2, 869m from Eonju Station Exit 5, and 979m from Samseong Jungang Station Exit 7. There's no parking inside the building, so you'll need a nearby paid lot. Since it's near my office I just walked over haha.

If you're not paying attention you might walk right past it! It's tucked inside an alley. Watch for the sign that says 'On The' — sugaring wax, lash lift, lash extensions.

Here it is! Feels like the 1st floor even though it's the 2nd. Knock and the kind director opens the door for you haha. A comfortable lash lift with the director doing the work herself.

Inside On The Boutique: the space and the wait

The interior of On The Boutique is cozy and clean. I love a clean space so much.

I went a bit early, and the reservation before mine wasn't finished yet, so I waited a little. After I was done, the next guest was already there waiting too. It seems like this place is known for great lasting power near Seonjeongneung, so people come from all over. There are a lot of offices around here, so if you can't make it after work, coming during lunch break might work too.

Director Rahee's consultation and how the lash lift works

There were a lot of awards and plaques on display :) There are two directors here, and I was treated by director Rahee. Before the lift, we had a thorough consultation.

I was so comfortable during the treatment that I fell fast asleep haha (at places that aren't great or where I feel uncomfortable, I can't even lie down and doze off). I woke up and the lash lift was already done.

Both directors are pretty, kind, and skilled 👍🏻 (I'd also been treated by director Minseo before). A lash specialty studio — Gangnam lash extensions.

How the lash lift turned out on fine, long lashes

My lashes are on the fine and long side. With a curler and mascara they look somewhat okay, but who wants to do that every single day? They're obviously droopy and my eyes look flat and dull.

This is right after the lash lift! So pretty, right?❤️ Amazing, isn't it? Looks like extensions, doesn't it?

And at places that over-curl the lashes, I've had the issue where they poke the skin above my eye every time I blink — but at On The Boutique there was none of that discomfort. I loved it so much 🥹

Here's the front-facing before and after too! My eyes clearly look more defined after the lash lift, right? I'm so, so satisfied. The lasting power is really long too haha. I should keep up with lash serum regularly too. People actually told me I looked prettier after getting the lash lift 🥹 No more procrastinating — I need to keep getting this done regularly.
