Namwirye shabu-shabu: rice paper wraps, puffed-rice ice cream, Dadam
In short
Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is an all-you-can-eat vegetable and meat shabu-shabu restaurant on the 3rd floor of G&G Plaza near Namwirye Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. Weekday lunch costs 17,900 won for a self-bar of about 40 items; the writer's family stuck to shabu-shabu while the writer went all-in on wolnamssam (Vietnamese rice paper wraps), then finished with porridge made from the leftover broth, a self-serve affogato and ppeong-scream (ice cream on a puffed rice cracker). Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is a great-value spot worth visiting in Seongnam.

All-you-can-eat fresh vegetables and top-grade meat — Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam, a Namwirye Station favorite. Recommending it as a great spot to visit in Seongnam.
Location and parking near Namwirye Station

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is on the 3rd floor of G&G Plaza, a Namwirye Station (Line 8) favorite just a 7-minute walk from Exit 3.
Parking is in the building's underground lot, free for 3 hours.
This is a Seongnam spot where you'll likely have to wait, so I'd recommend reserving ahead — just note that weekdays 3–5pm can't be reserved, and weekends only allow reservations at 11am or 5pm.
Takeout is also available, don't miss it!!
Inside Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam, with window seats over Changgokcheon

There were a lot of customers so I couldn't photograph every corner, but the place is spacious and clean. There are sofa seats and window seats.
The window seats have full glass walls on all sides, so the view is great. You can enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of Wirye's Changgokcheon stream~♪

A great Namwirye Station spot for family meals out, friends, couples, or group gatherings.

Prices and self-bar lineup
Weekday lunch is 17,900 won, weekday dinner and weekends/holidays are 21,900 won, elementary schoolers are 13,900 won, and preschoolers are 8,000 won.
At that price, unlimited refills of 40-plus vegetable and meat items on the self-bar feel like really great value. Clearly a popular spot to visit in Seongnam.

Pick 2 of clear broth / clear seafood broth / spicy broth, then head straight to the self-bar~★

A self-bar curated by an owner who's worked 20 years as a vegetable wholesaler at Garak Market, personally bidding at auction to select only the freshest produce!!! Great value, and I was surprised at just how many varieties there were. (There's a reason people wait for this place!!)

Just looking at it, the vegetables and various ingredients are bursting with freshness, and there's unlimited refills of top-grade beef chuck flap and beef neck too. Plus, no need to go to a separate café afterward — there's Americano brewed from first-grade beans and fresh vanilla ice cream for a varied dessert spread.
Shabu-shabu, wolnamssam, and the finishing porridge and dessert

Piling up all the ingredients I wanted from the self-bar filled up the whole big table.

Maybe because all the ingredients were so good, the colors were just gorgeous too!! It's been a while since I visited a shabu-shabu place that really won me over.
It's a shame to pick just one broth, right?? But at Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam you can go half-and-half and enjoy two flavors at once, picked to your taste.

All-in on wolnamssam
While the family enjoyed shabu-shabu, I went all-in on wolnamssam (Vietnamese rice paper wraps)!! The vegetables were so fresh and delicious I couldn't stop, you know??

I was on a diet but couldn't resist — devouring away!!
You can enjoy not just vegetables but plenty of meat too. Couldn't stop, haha.
How to make the finishing fried rice / porridge
After enjoying shabu-shabu, it'd be a shame to skip the fried rice/porridge, right? Grab rice, dried seaweed flakes, sesame oil, sesame salt, and a raw egg from the self-bar, and add minari (water dropwort), chives, carrots, mushrooms and more to taste.

I was already full, but making porridge with the leftover broth turned out to be a whole other delicacy. Filling and delicious, a satisfying way to finish the meal.

For dessert, I poured out a generous scoop of ice cream and topped it with espresso to make an affogato. My kid made a 'ppeong-scream' by piling ice cream onto a ppeongtwigi (puffed rice cracker) — dessert nailed it too.
Overall verdict

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam, a Namwirye Station favorite where you can enjoy 40-plus fresh ingredients at great value. With unlimited vegetables and meat, it's a filling, satisfying meal — recommended as a spot worth visiting in Seongnam.
