Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong 2 Sandan Branch is located on the 3rd floor of the Compose Coffee building in front of Osong Station Paragon 1 Complex's main gate.

What about parking at Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong branch? You get 2 hours free in the building's dedicated parking lot. Enter through the basement parking entrance next to the pharmacy on the 1st floor.

Inside Hanmaeum: dining room and toddler playroom

The interior of Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong 2 Sandan Branch is spacious and pleasant. There are really a lot of tables and it's roomy, so it seems like a good spot for work dinners or large gatherings too.

True to its status as a premium aged-pork specialist, the aged raw meat on display right at the entrance caught my eye — you could tell at a glance it was fresh.

Being a proper Osong Station BBQ restaurant, Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong branch also has waiting seats set up in front of the counter.

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong branch is also really well equipped with a toddler play room, making it perfect for family gatherings.

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang's kids' zone is spacious enough for children to run around in.

You can watch the kids playing through the transparent window while eating, which felt very reassuring.

Besides the aged meat, there's also kids' seaweed soup and kids' jjajang rice prepared for young guests.

We ordered the whole pig platter (1kg), which lets you taste a variety of cuts.

How the 1kg whole pig set tastes: four pork cuts

The doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) that's served as a default, no separate order needed, was nicely salty and paired really well with the meat.

When the doenjang jjigae ran low, the staff refilled it right away. So kind~~

The basic side dishes, including bean sprouts, geotjeori (fresh kimchi salad) and miyeok-julgi (seaweed stem), were also generous.

You can freely help yourself to more side dishes at the self-service bar.

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang's pajeori (green onion salad) is extra special because it has jjolmyeon (chewy noodles) mixed in.

The spicy-sweet sauce goes perfectly with the jjolmyeon, so I refilled it once more.

The golden kimchi jeon (kimchi pancake) that comes as a default is really delicious too. While the grill was heating up, I demolished the kimchi jeon in no time.

✨Ta-da✨ Here's the whole pig platter (1kg). It's a combination of pork belly, five-layer belly, pork neck and gabrisal.

They laid the meat on the well-heated grill.

We also ordered soju and rice — can't have meat without them.

Ssamjang (dipping sauce), pajeori, geotjeori, lettuce wraps — any combination tastes great.

They kept the meat coming, grilling diligently so there was no gap in the flow.

Every cut was tender and tasty with no gamey smell, but the pork belly was my personal favorite.

Water naengmyeon and bibim naengmyeon for dessert

For dessert we ordered water naengmyeon (cold noodle soup).

The naengmyeon noodles were thin and not chewy, so they were easy to eat.

The water naengmyeon was so good we ordered bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) too 🤭

Piling some meat on top of the bibim naengmyeon made it truly the best.

Verdict: a family-friendly Korean BBQ near Osong Station
