I visited Siznique Shinsegae Department Store Daegu Branch at around 7pm on a weekday, and a lot of the cakes were already gone 😭 But!! The fig cake I was most curious about was thankfully still there, haha 🤍

Mango cake and mango cream basque in the showcase

Siznique's famous mango cake 🥭 You'd honestly spill mango all over the place carrying this home..

This one is the mango cream basque (a creamy, burnt-top cheesecake)!! And the mango cake above it really has way more fruit than sponge!!

The fig cake comes in a large size and a mini size

Look at this gorgeous fig cake 🤩😍 I'll gladly eat you.. The showcase photo is the large size, and I bought the mini size!

I also liked that the mini size is a good choice when a big cake feels like too much. I think it also suits anyone who wants a light dessert or a cake to share between two~!!

A month of peach season: Peach Farm Wareureu cake and peach cream basque

I heard Siznique is in peach season for a month!!

Another insane-looking cake, different from the mango one!! Great name too.. Peach Farm Wareureu (복숭아농장와르르, roughly "peach farm come tumbling down") hahaha

There's a peach cream basque too! If the Peach Farm Wareureu cake above feels like too much, I'd recommend this one!

I almost fainted when I cut the fig cake open~~ I was just so happy~~ Look at the amount of fig!! 😂🤍 Don't underestimate it because it's the mini size!!

The gentle sweetness and soft fruit were lovely, and it wasn't too sweet, which made it even better!
