I was looking for a great dessert spot in Seongsu and ended up at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch. It's a café famous for its mango soufflé, and I'd wanted to try it for a long time. Now that I've been, I understand why it's so popular. I ordered the mango soufflé, a cream cheese strawberry latte and a vanilla latte. The interior is pretty and the soufflé was delicious too, so I'd recommend it as a Seongsu date spot.

What are the interior and seating like?
The interior is wood-toned throughout, so it feels comfortable and has a great atmosphere, and it's easy to stay for a long time. If you're looking for a nice Seongsu café for a date or a relaxed chat with friends, it seems like a good pick.
There are indoor seats on the 2nd and 3rd floors plus outdoor seats, so it's fair to call it a large café. As someone who likes big cafés, I loved that. The seats are also nicely spaced, so it was easy to settle in.
It was raining when I visited, so I sat inside, but when the weather turns cool I'd love to sit outside and enjoy the breeze.
White and wood tones blend together for a warm atmosphere, and the natural light is good, so photos come out really pretty. Corners all over are styled like photo spots, so it's great for dessert shots and portraits alike.
It was quiet enough for working on a laptop or chatting, and it was kept neat and clean overall, which made me even happier with it.

How to enjoy the mango soufflé
Stir the cream cheese strawberry latte and the vanilla latte well before drinking. Dip the mango in the flowing whipped cream! It gets twice as delicious.
At 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch they only score the mango with cuts, so I scooped it up with a fork. The reason it's so good is that pre-cut mango can lose some freshness, but here they cut it right when you order, so it was fresh, sweet and really delicious. I was too full to finish the soufflé, and if it were possible I'd have wanted to order extra mango only.
Now, the grand soufflé! The fluffy texture of the soufflé with the smooth whipped cream was really delicious. Soft, moist, fluffy, even a little chewy.. there's nothing not to like.
