Gangnam Station fusion Korean restaurant open till 10pm: Moa Gangnam
In short
Moa Gangnam is a fusion Korean restaurant on Teheran-ro 5-gil, between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station in Seoul. On a Sunday evening the writer ordered maesaengi (seaweed fulvescens) conch risotto, abalone mushroom butter pot rice and gangdoenjang (thick soybean paste) arancini, and the maesaengi conch risotto was the clear favorite. Moa Gangnam is open until 10pm with last order at 9pm, making it a good pick for a late get-together.

I visited Moa, a Gangnam Station restaurant doing fusion Korean food with a Western touch 🏃♀️💨
Moa Gangnam sits between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station, with great access — 3 minutes from Yeoksam Station, 5 minutes from Gangnam Station!
It's a great fusion restaurant for a Gangnam Station get-together. It's open until 10pm with last order at 9pm, so it stays open pretty late. That alone makes it good for a Gangnam Station meetup haha.

Moa Gangnam's location and exterior, how to find it
Here's the exterior of Moa, a Gangnam Station restaurant. It's a red brick building with a striking white facade, so it's easy to find haha!

Full house on a Sunday evening, reservations are a must
I visited on a Sunday evening and it was almost completely full. Looking it up beforehand, I found out it's a place people wait for. You can reserve ahead via Naver, so booking in advance makes things much easier ~_~
On my way out, after a lot of people had cleared, I took some interior shots trying not to catch anyone else in frame haha. There are seats with tablets and seats without. I happened to sit at a pretty window seat that didn't have one, so I made sure to get a good photo of the menu instead.

Moa Gangnam's menu and what we ordered
This is the menu from my July 2026 visit. I ordered three dishes total: the signature pot rice, the arancini, and the risotto that looked unique.
Besides highballs, there are plenty of traditional liquors and makgeolli varieties too. Moa Gangnam is a good spot for a drink at a special gathering (like a wedding invitation meetup) or on a date.

Abalone mushroom butter pot rice, doenjang arancini, seaweed conch risotto — Moa Gangnam blends Korean and Western food nicely. Let me dig in right now~~

Seaweed conch risotto, my pick of the day
The seaweed conch risotto was my absolute favorite of the three dishes I had at Moa Gangnam. Dishes made with maesaengi (fine green seaweed) are pretty rare, so it felt kind of exciting to see haha. And risotto on top of that felt even more unusual. So I ordered it, and the maesaengi risotto turned out to be delicious.
The thick, creamy risotto base had the maesaengi naturally blended in. The seaweed's distinct aroma and saltiness really came through, giving it insane umami..! It's the kind of flavor that keeps pulling you back. I scraped the plate clean, basically.
Seaweed dishes are a love-it-or-hate-it thing, so if you're not a fan, keep that in mind when choosing. As for me — total fan of the maesaengi risotto ^_^

Can you see the conch pieces tucked evenly between the risotto grains? They had a chewy, unmistakable presence that really boosted the texture. Such a nice touch.

The signature abalone mushroom butter pot rice
Abalone mushroom butter pot rice is one of Moa Gangnam's signature dishes. Piled high with abalone and mushrooms, it's a visual that really gets your appetite going 🤤

Abalone and butter is a combination that can't fail haha. Since abalone innards are used too, the flavor is deep, nutty, and smooth. The abalone aroma is the best — there's clearly a reason this is a signature dish. A flavor anyone would like!

What does the doenjang arancini taste like?
Moa Gangnam's doenjang arancini is made by frying bulgogi risotto. The round, cute arancini balls feel really substantial — hearty, filling. You're meant to eat them dipped in the doenjang (fermented soybean paste) sauce underneath ~_~

The arancini itself is crispy, and there's also fried rice paper added on top, which makes it prettier and gives the texture even more bite ㅎ_ㅎ When the salty, savory doenjang sauce gets too intense, pairing it with the radish sprouts helps balance the flavor out! You really do have to eat all the elements together in one bite ^_^ It was a chance to try an arancini uniquely adapted to Korean flavors.

Good occasions to visit Moa Gangnam
A nice meeting of Korean and Western food ✌🏻 With noodle dishes like pasta, kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), sujebi (hand-torn dough soup), buckwheat noodles, and rice dishes like risotto, deopbap, and pot rice, the menu is so varied that it's a great Gangnam Station restaurant for a group gathering (wedding invitation meetup) or a date.
This was my honest review of Moa Gangnam, a fusion restaurant that focuses on the natural flavor of seasonal ingredients without adding artificial taste!
