I want to introduce a burger place good for solo dining in Maetan-dong ✈️ The most famous burger spot in Maetan-dong, 666 Burger. Let's take a closer look, one thing at a time 👀✨

Exterior and parking at the Sandeuremi intersection

666 Burger is visible right from the Sandeuremi intersection! It's easy to spot on foot from the road, and for parking, you need to come in toward the Baekja Apartments side.

666 Burger — the kind of place you might have spotted before while passing by!

For parking, you can park in front of Baekja Apartments or in any open spot in the shopping complex lot. There's no entry/exit gate, so it's easy to come and go.

Menu and kiosk ordering: 4,000 won set upgrade

When ordering inside, you order at the kiosk right next to the kitchen. The kiosk was higher than I expected, so it might be a bit awkward for shorter people to use.

Upgrading a single burger to a set adds ₩4,000. I ordered the Best Menu item plus this month's special, which isn't listed on the regular menu board.

Inside 666 Burger: solo seats and an open kitchen

Walking in through the front entrance near the Sandeuremi intersection, the open kitchen is right in front of you, so you can watch the busy staff at work.

Inside there's space for solo dining as well as 4-person tables.

Once you're done eating, you clear your own tray.

What surprised me was how many delivery orders kept coming in — delivery riders were constantly coming and going. Inside, it was mostly nearby office workers and solo diners having their meal.

How did the Best Position set and Beiroit taste?

💵 Best Position (set) ₩13,000 / 💵 Beiroit (August-only menu, single) ₩9,900. Both 666 burgers came out together on one tray.

The fries that came with the set really stood out. Not your usual thin fries — these were thick-cut, so they were filling and had a different, more satisfying chew. Flavor-wise, they weren't much different from a regular burger shop's.

Best Position set for 13,000 won: a whole pickle inside

The burger's name itself was Best Position, so I figured it'd be the safest choice. But the first thing I noticed was the pickle — my eyes went straight to it… I was a little thrown off 😳 The pickle was in there whole, so I felt like biting into it wrong would hit me with a sour shock. Overall the flavor was clean, but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't really taste like a handmade burger.

Beef patty, American cheese, raw onion, pickle, tomato, romaine, bacon, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce. Probably the most basic-tasting item on the Best menu.

Beiroit single for 9,900 won: the August-only burger

💵 Beiroit (August-only menu, single) ₩9,900. I visited in August, and this month's special is basically a regular burger with sausage added. Since it seems like they roll out a new limited menu each month, I decided to give it a try!

Beef patty, romaine, rosé sauce, chili mayo (spicy), sausage, grilled onion, tomato. It's packed with ingredients, but the sausage inside was a cheap-tasting one, and its strong flavor ended up overpowering the rest of the burger 😱

The potatoes were the part I actually enjoyed eating. They were thick, so even after a bite there was still plenty left in my hand — I really liked that.

Would I go back to 666 Burger Main Branch in Maetan-dong?

One disappointing part was that the wrapping paper was loose while I ate, so sauce kept dripping out. It would've been better if the wrapping had been a bit sturdier. Since it's the main branch, I had high expectations for 666 Burger, but there ended up being more letdowns than I expected, so I don't think I'll be back. If I ever do come back once more, next time I'd like to try it with a double patty for a richer cheese and meat flavor.
