Three friends try Korean BBQ set for 2-3 in Daejeon: Imdaejang

Looking for a good Korean BBQ spot in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon, and I found [Imdaejang Dunsan Branch]!! This place brings the meat out already grilled, so it's perfect for going with girlfriends haha. Booked a reservation right away and went^_^

Location and parking at Imdaejang Daejeon Dunsan Branch

It's located to the right of the big GS convenience store at Galleria Timeworld (left of Yi Sun-sin Beef Gukbap). It's the Nokwon Building, and they also gave us a free 2-hour parking voucher for the building's basement lot, so it was easy to visit!!~

Vibe and reserved seating

The interior was clean and tidy, and the chairs were comfortable, so it was nice to eat there haha. Since we had a reservation, they set up separate reserved seating for us, so we got seated right away with no wait. I went at opening, but as evening rolled around people kept streaming in until it was packed🔥 Definitely a popular spot!! Confirmed hot place in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon

We could easily order via tablet, and the side dishes were set out right after we ordered! There were plenty of side dishes that went well with the meat, which was nice

Since you get to taste a variety of cuts, it's perfect to order when there are several of you, and the visual of the platter piled high looked so appetizing!! Two of us are light eaters, so with three women total, the portion was just right. You even get to enjoy the chewy pork skin along with everything else, so anyone who loves meat would be satisfied haha

Pork neck, pork belly, pork skin, and the meljeot dip

The pork neck was light but full of juicy flavor, and the pork belly was savory and chewy — both were delicious>_< The pork skin was chewy with an added savoriness, making it a real treat haha. There were plenty of accompaniments too — minari (water celery), bean sprouts, scallion strips, stir-fried kimchi, mushrooms — and grilling them together made for a really great combination. The highlight was dipping the meat straight into meljeot (fermented anchovy sauce)! The salty, spicy kick paired so well with the meat

Of course after Korean BBQ you can't skip the K-dessert fried rice lol. A must-have course even if you're already full!! You can't say you've had the full meal experience without finishing with the fried rice
