My daughters love soufflé so much that whenever we hear of a good place in Cheonan, we go check it out. This time we visited Andamiro Pancake, which people around me keep recommending as a top soufflé spot in Sinbu-dong.

Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is about a 4-minute walk from the Sinbu-dong public parking lot. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, and cheap after that!!!! Since the public lot opened recently, visiting cafés and restaurants in Sinbu-dong has become much easier, and not having to worry about parking was a big plus.

What is the atmosphere like at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan?

The café is a spacious, tidy place with sunlight pouring in through big windows. The moment we walked in, the sunshine and open feel were the first things I noticed, and the whole place was kept clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows put me in a good mood.

The space is large, so it would work well for families or group gatherings. It's also a lovely spot for chatting with friends or going on a date, and just right for relaxing over coffee at a Sinbu-dong café.

What did we order with our daughters at Andamiro Pancake?

We ordered a crème brûlée soufflé and a hot americano, and the kids chose two Andamiro choco drinks. The homemade whipped cream on top of the choco drinks was really impressive.

The generous helping of whipped cream was soft and sweet but not heavy, and the kids loved it. Homemade whipped cream really is different, I thought.

Can you watch soufflés rise in the open kitchen at Andamiro Pancake?

The kitchen is open, so when you order a soufflé you can watch it being made right then. That's what made Andamiro Pancake special for us. The kids were bouncing with excitement!

We watched the batter go on and slowly puff up with the kids. "Mom, it's getting bigger!" "This is so cool." Seeing their eyes sparkle reminded me of the time I tried making soufflé at home. It ended up as plain pancakes, and when I told the owner that story, they laughed along with us.

"This is why you leave it to the experts."

When I said that to the kids, everyone burst out laughing. I'll remember this place even more for the little memory it gave us.

How does the crème brûlée soufflé at Andamiro Pancake taste?

Under the caramelized top, the crème brûlée soufflé was fluffy and melted in the mouth. When it arrived a little later, it was just as I'd hoped... I cracked the golden caramelized top, the fluffy soufflé appeared, and it melted away the moment it hit my mouth.

The sweet custard flavor and subtle caramel aroma blended well, and I never got tired of it to the end. With a hot americano, the sweetness finished cleaner, so it was a satisfying place for coffee at a Sinbu-dong café too.

Is Andamiro Pancake Cheonan good for families and groups?

There is group seating on one side of the café, so it's good for family gatherings or visits with friends. Sitting at a window seat made the mood feel even more relaxed. Above all, the staff were friendly, so even on our first visit we had a really pleasant time.
