Boryeong craft beer and wood-fired pizza at Daecheon Brewery

A resort-like exterior and terrace

I arrived at Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub (대천브루어리 수제맥주 양조장&피자펍). Its incredibly exotic, resort-like interior immediately stood out to me. It definitely has that tourist-destination feel, so it is really worth a visit.

There was a terrace in the outdoor area, and it felt as if I had arrived at an overseas resort. The interior was done so well. It is great for photos and perfect for a date, too. Everything was really neat overall.

A spacious interior and a look at the craft beer

I headed inside Daecheon Brewery. I was surprised once again because the interior space was so well done. It had a lovely tropical design, and above all, it was really spacious.

It has a sophisticated feel, so I think it would fit perfectly into a Daecheon travel itinerary. I especially noticed lots of families visiting. The ceiling is very high as well, which makes it feel wonderfully open.

Since this is a brewery specializing in craft beer, you can order and enjoy craft beer here. I was really looking forward to it, probably because it is craft beer. There were so many varieties, too.

The outdoor forest view was also so beautiful, and it felt healing to be surrounded by the woods.

You can buy a range of goods and beer here. The gift set with six bottled beers is especially popular.

Because the interior is so nicely done, it was fun just looking around, too.

There are so many kinds of beer that it would be nice to taste them before buying, or to ask for a recommendation. Each beer has its own character.

You can even see the brewery equipment right in front of you.

Wood-fired pizza and beer menu

Here is the Daecheon Brewery menu. It is known for wood-fired pizza, with a wide range of choices. There are snack platters as well, so it is great for visiting and eating as a group.

My order came out. The wood-fired pizza smelled amazing.

Their signature Boryeong Mud Lager was poured fresh on draft. Its flavor was no joke. Since it is a beer you can only have in Boryeong, it felt even more special. It went down so smoothly and had a refreshing finish, making it just right for a cool summer drink.

Hanne Pale Ale is non-alcoholic. Since they have non-alcoholic beer as well, I think it would be a good choice for people who cannot drink. The flavor was not too strong, and perhaps because it is made with fresh hops, it was smooth and clean.

Spicy Diablo Shrimp

I had been wondering which pizza to get, but I was craving something a little spicy. So I ordered the Diablo Shrimp.

I could really taste the savory depth of the chorizo and tomato, with the heat of Vietnamese chili added in. Combined with plump shrimp, the flavors were rich. Since it is wood-fired, even the crust was light and clean-tasting.

I recommend it to anyone who likes spicy food.

French fries that pair well with beer

Among the side dishes, I ordered the French fries. They are easy to snack on, and more than anything, they are a perfect match for beer.

I loved the tasty seasoning sprinkled over them, and they were freshly fried, crispy, and delicious. If you are taking a trip to Daecheon, it is a good place to visit at least once. It is especially close to Daecheon Beach, so it is perfect to pair with a beach visit.

Daecheon Brewery is a two-minute drive from the beach.

There is dedicated parking directly in front of the pub, so parking was easy and convenient.
