Sinnonhyeon sandwich café with a 4,500-won price list: Selecto Coffee

As a self-proclaimed coffee lover, my favorite lunch combo is honestly coffee + sandwich 😋☕️🥪 I had some business near Sinnonhyeon Station today, and once I got hungry I looked around and found a café famous for both coffee and sandwiches — decided instantly!

Where is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon, and is it really open 24 hours?

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is on the 1st floor of 31 Gangnam-daero 79-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and it's open 24 hours. Monday to Friday it's staffed 8:00–22:00 and unstaffed 22:00–8:00, while weekends switch to staffed 10:00–21:00 and unstaffed 21:00–10:00.

Coming out of Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station, it's about a 200m walk to Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch! Easy to find and close to the station, so it'd make a great meeting spot too. And it's open 24 hours!! 👍🏻

Out front of Selecto Coffee there was a spacious outdoor terrace set up too. Seems like you could have a little picnic in the middle of the city on a nice day…!

The self-service print zone and the seats inside

I'd heard this place was famous for sandwiches and salads, so I came in excited 💕 I didn't use it myself, but there's a 24-hour self-serve print zone for printing, copying, and scanning!! Sounds perfect for office workers or students who need to get work or assignments done late at night or in the early morning.

The inside of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch is spacious and comfortable! Lots of different seating options, including group tables that'd work for outside meetings 🤗 And of course there are solo seats too, so you can study on your own!!

Drink menu: choosing from five coffee beans

The Selecto Coffee drink menu! True to its reputation as a coffee spot, there are a whopping 5 bean options 👍🏻💕 Mocha Blend / Blue Mountain Blend / Hwasa / Geisha / Decaf — pick whichever suits your taste.

There's also a wide range of non-coffee drinks, so even people who can't drink coffee can visit without worry!

Sandwich price list at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon

One of the main reasons I came to Selecto Coffee: ✨sandwich spot✨ I got there in the morning, so luckily the case was fully stocked with all kinds of sandwiches!!

Light Chicken Sandwich (₩4,500) / Light Ricotta Sandwich (₩5,000)

Chicken Sandwich (₩7,000) / Ricotta Cheese Sandwich (₩7,500)

Sweet Pumpkin Egg Sandwich (₩7,500) / Smoked Salmon Sandwich (₩8,500)

Light Sweet Pumpkin Sandwich (₩4,500) / Egg Mayo Sandwich (₩5,000) / Ham Cheese Sandwich (₩4,500). There was an even bigger salad selection lined up next to these. So many options and they all looked delicious, it was hard to decide ㅠㅠ

There were also desserts like salt bread, bagels, and slice cakes, so Selecto Coffee really had everything hahaㅋㅋㅋ🫶🏻🫶🏻

There was even a full snack section with vegetable mix and bagel chips. When I visited, the garlic butter bagel chip 3-packs happened to be on sale…!

Mocha blend vs geisha blend: what's the taste difference?

I ordered the geisha blend, the mocha blend, and a chicken sandwich.

The coffees came out quickly, and finally, mealtime 😋

I wanted to try both kinds of coffee, so I ordered one mocha blend and one geisha blend!

• Mocha Blend: a heavy body with rich chocolatey aromas — notes of chocolate, cacao, honey, and cherry
• Geisha Blend: often called a coffee gifted by the gods, with floral, plum, and blackberry notes, bright acidity, and full body

Having tried both, the geisha coffee had a bit more acidity and a sweeter aroma compared to the mocha blend. If you like a heavy, full-bodied bean with a bitter edge, go for the mocha blend; if you want a fragrant, uplifting, brighter cup, I'd recommend the geisha blend!

Was the 7,000-won chicken sandwich enough for lunch?

The chicken sandwich (₩7,000) at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch was so packed that just half of it was filling. It was loaded with fresh vegetables and a generous amount of chicken breast, so half was plenty to fill me up. Can you see how stuffed it is…🤤 The onion and lettuce were crisp, and the cherry tomatoes were fresh with no soggy bits — everything came together really well!!

The sauce added a nice kick that paired well with the chicken breast, and it went perfectly with the coffee 😋💕 If you're looking for a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station, I recommend Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe for both good coffee and good sandwiches!!!
