Indoors, there's ample seating from the 1st to the 2nd floor, and there's even a rooftop space on the 3rd floor, so the place is pretty large overall.

Each floor has a slightly different vibe, which made it great for photos, and the window seats with sunlight streaming in were really pretty too. This sense of space made me think it would suit anyone looking for a large café in Suwon — a great spot for a date, friends, or family!

One reason it's become known as a bakery café in Suwon is the bagels. They're kneaded fresh every dawn using French and Canadian flour, then aged and fermented, apparently.

Four bagels and an americano: which pairing worked best?

Table with americano and four bagels

This time I picked americano along with mocha bun, rice crackseo, deep choco, and laugen butter bagels.

The americano was clean with a distinct nutty note that paired really well with the bagels — memorable enough to make me think of this as a coffee spot in Suwon too.

A cup of americano with bagel

Laugen butter bagel

The outside was slightly salty and the inside soft, so the buttery flavor really came through.

Cross-section of the laugen butter bagel

Rather than sweet, it had a refined, savory, understated butter style, which made it the best match for the americano, haha.

Mocha bun bagel

The outside was crispy with a subtle coffee aroma spreading out, while the inside was moist, making it enjoyable like a sweet dessert.

Eating it alongside coffee made the aroma feel even richer — personally, I was really satisfied.

Rice crackseo bagel

True to its name, the outside was crispy and the inside chewy — that was the charm. The more I chewed, the more a clean, savory flavor came through, and I kept reaching for more.

Deep choco bagel

There was so much chocolate packed in that a rich chocolate flavor spread the moment I bit in.

It wasn't overly sweet, but had a strong, genuine chocolate character — anyone who likes sweet treats would be satisfied.

Overall, every bagel had a distinct texture, and it made sense why this place gets so much attention as a bakery café in Suwon.

Is Orange Bagel worth a trip to Homaesil?

With its Brooklyn-inspired space and variety of bagels, this was a café I wanted to linger in for a while.

With a wide parking lot and even a rooftop, it was easy to visit for a date or with friends, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a café near Seoul or a place to visit in Gyeonggi-do. Next time, I'd like to try the signature orange coffees too.
