In short

Past a yard of blooming trumpet vine, Café Buajang opens into a high-ceiling main hall with floor-to-ceiling windows under the original roof, followed by a cozy vintage inner room; the visit included the signature maple cream latte, the Berry Berry cheesecake and an iced Americano. Café Buajang is a dessert café near Gwangalli, a forest-themed healing spot in the middle of downtown Minrak-dong. Parking is available right in front.

Café Buajang location, hours, and parking
26-15 Minrak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan Mon, Wed, Thu 11:00–21:00 (closed every Tuesday) Fri, Sat, Sun 11:00–19:00 4–5 parking spots in front of the café A quiet, pretty forest-concept café in the middle of downtown Gwangalli Cool interior and great desserts — good for a summer escape too

Café Buajang sits deep inside a Minrak-dong alley. The yard, styled like a little garden, has trumpet vine flowers blooming wildly along the wall — so summery! By the way, Buajang doesn't have a separate parking lot, but there's room for about 4–5 cars right in front of the café. Since so many Minrak-dong cafés have zero parking, this is a big plus for Buajang, haha.

Why is it called a forest café? The high-ceiling window main hall
Café Buajang's main hall keeps the original roofline, giving it a high ceiling with floor-to-ceiling windows. I gasped the moment I walked in. Those windows make the space feel so open. Sunlight pours straight through the big glass, filling the whole room with warmth and brightness. Green plants scattered around catch your eye too. It genuinely felt like stepping into a forest. I finally got why people call it a forest café in the middle of downtown. It felt like visiting someone's private garden, which made it even better.

The inner vintage room has a totally different vibe
Past the main hall is another space, and it was surprising how completely different the mood is from the front window area, haha. It's cozier and more vintage, great for conversation — perfect as a Gwangalli date café too!

We ordered two iced Americanos, Café Buajang's signature maple cream latte, and the berry cheesecake. Sipping them while looking out at the green trees felt like having tea in a cool forest.

How does the signature maple cream latte taste?
Café Buajang's signature maple cream latte (₩6,000) has maple syrup in it, so it's less sweet than expected — just the right level of sweetness that paired really well with the coffee. The sweet-salty combo of the pink salt cream on top with the maple syrup was seriously addictive!

Iced Americano: mild acidity with a dark chocolate finish
And in summer, iced Americano is truth... Buajang's Americano has a gentle acidity with a nutty, dark-chocolate-like finish, so it's easy to keep drinking without feeling heavy, and sipping it with this view really made the heat melt away, sniff.

Berry cheesecake: dense base with blueberry compote
The berry cheesecake (₩7,200) hits with a burst of tartness from the first bite! Blueberry compote is piled on generously, so the sweet-tart flavor is intense, and the cheesecake base is on the dense side, balancing it out perfectly. The rich cheese flavor and the tang of the berries never felt heavy — the kind of taste you keep eating. Very much a Gwangalli dessert café flavor.

Summary — who should visit
Café Buajang is a healing spot hidden deep in a Minrak-dong alley. From the open, forest-like window seats to the cozy inner room, it's a Gwangalli café where every seat feels relaxing. And with parking available, unlike most Minrak-dong cafés, it's easier to visit too! I'd confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a Gwangalli date spot, a quiet Gwangalli café, a Gwangalli dessert café, or a Minrak-dong dessert spot, haha.
