Seongsu Greek yogurt café open on Chuseok: mugwort flavor, Lazy Yogurt
In short
Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is a Greek yogurt café in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, open year-round with no days off. During the Chuseok holiday, the blogger tried the Chuseok-edition mugwort Greek yogurt as a free receipt-review taster and took home a Noir Double and a Beh Single; the mugwort Greek yogurt was thick and gently herbal even without honey. For a Seongsu dessert café that stays open over the holidays, the mugwort flavor at Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is the one to pick first.

Is Lazy Yogurt Seongsu open during Chuseok?
Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is a Seongsu spot that stayed fully open during Seollal too, so I visited again for this Chuseok. Having one always-open spot in Seongsu on my radar makes solving meals during the holidays so much easier.
There wasn't a special Seollal menu, but this time for Chuseok they released new holiday-edition rice and mugwort flavors. I ordered plain this time, but when I got home and tried the mugwort Greek yogurt, it was so much better than I expected! If I'd known it would be this good, I would've ordered mugwort instead of plain haha! Next time I'm definitely ordering mugwort again!

Lazy Yogurt Seongsu location, atmosphere and opening hours
Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is on the ground floor of Building B, on the right side of the property, and it's open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with no break time. Pets are welcome too.
There are terrace tables set up among lush green trees, making it a great Seongsu fall dessert spot to enjoy outdoors on nice-weather days. The indoor space is decorated mostly with simple tables, good for a quick bite, and the overall calm atmosphere makes it a relatively relaxed place to eat solo or go on a date even in the middle of busy Seongsu.

Lazy Yogurt sizes, flavors and menu
Lazy Yogurt's Greek yogurt comes in two sizes: Single and Double. Single is one flavor, while Double lets you pick two flavors with double the portion, so if you want to try several flavors, go for the Double.
The flavor lineup was varied too — plain, soy, pistachio, strawberry, Oreo, lemon, matcha chocolate, Lotus, chestnut, black sesame, and more, so you can pick based on your taste.
Beyond Greek yogurt, the menu also includes acai bowls, bagel sandwiches, lactose-free plain yogurt, tea and cold brew, making it a good option for a light meal or a Seongsu fall dessert visit.

Free taster scoop for a Naver receipt review
At Lazy Yogurt Seongsu, writing a Naver receipt review gets you a free taster scoop of Greek yogurt. It's normally a random flavor, but when I mentioned I was curious about the mugwort yogurt, they scooped me mugwort haha.
If there's a flavor you're curious about, it's worth joining the review event to compare flavors in advance. Even as a free serving, the portion was bigger than I expected!

Open kitchen and a staff pick: the mugwort flavor
After ordering, I could watch the menu being made right away in the neatly organized open kitchen.
There was a handsome staff member who spoke Korean really well while taking my order. I asked — hope this isn't rude — if he was Korean, and he said he's Russian, but has lived in Korea since he was 2 years old. Between rice and mugwort, he personally recommended mugwort as the tastier one. The yogurt looked great and the staff was really kind too haha — I'll take this down if there's any issue!

What we took out: mugwort taster, Noir Double and Beh Single
Along with the mugwort Greek yogurt taster I got from the Naver receipt review, I took home a Noir Double and a Beh Single. I actually meant to order the Noir as a Single, but I ended up ordering the two backwards..... why do I always do this?

How does the Chuseok-edition mugwort Greek yogurt taste?
And the most memorable one — the Chuseok-edition mugwort Greek yogurt! It's genuinely delicious and thick even without honey, just on the yogurt's own flavor.
Looking back at it now, I can still sense that subtle mugwort aroma haha. It was so much better than I expected that next time I visit, I'm reordering mugwort instead of plain!

Beh Single: banana, blueberry, fig and granola
The Lazy Yogurt Beh Single comes with banana, blueberry, fig, and granola, with honey served separately. The seasonal fruit seems to be fig, and personally the fig worked so well that I hope it becomes a permanent menu item haha.

Noir Double: banana and chocolate toppings
The Lazy Yogurt Noir Double comes with one banana, coconut chunks, chocolate balls, and cacao nibs, topped with chocolate syrup — which you can ask to leave out!
The crunchy, cookie-like toppings paired with the fresh fruit gave it a nice mix of textures, and since the two flavors each had their own charm, I could enjoy them each in a different way.

Who is Lazy Yogurt Seongsu best for?
Lazy Yogurt Seongsu has a wide range of light options from Greek yogurt to acai bowls and bagel sandwiches, with plenty of flavors to pick based on your taste. The new Chuseok edition in particular was so much better than expected that I'd recommend it again as a Seongsu fall dessert spot!
If you're looking for a no-break-time, always-open Seongsu spot to eat solo or a healthy dessert option, it's worth visiting Lazy Yogurt Seongsu :)
