Family Korean BBQ in Seohae, Incheon: Euljiro Yeontan Gui

In short

Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Seohae, Incheon, where pork is grilled over charcoal briquettes. Our family of three shared 600g of pork and bibim naengmyeon, and even our child happily finished a bowl of rice. Verdict: A generous, smoky family meal worth returning for.

The breeze is already turning cool—perfect weather for grilling meat, right? Today, I’m sharing a true regular spot that I absolutely love and that reliably takes care of our family meals out. Honestly, it’s a precious place I want to keep to myself, but it’s already a waiting-list hot spot that everyone in the neighborhood knows haha. It’s Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch, right in the Luone City food alley!

Why I keep returning to this Korean BBQ restaurant near Gajeong Station

I’ve praised this place on my blog many times, and our family has squeezed in countless return visits. Every time, we eat so well that I’ll go yesterday and be craving it again today—this restaurant has that kind of irresistible pull.

I think I keep coming back because the meat quality, value, and kindness are always consistently good. I also really love the retro atmosphere, like an old-school neighborhood restaurant!

The side dishes are neatly set out with only things that pair perfectly with the meat, such as pickled onions and ssammu (pickled radish wraps), which I love even more. And it’s so nice that you can help yourself to extra portions!

My husband had a drink too, and they thoughtfully added ice to keep it nicely chilled! Such a nice touch!

600g Dwaeji Hangeun and charcoal-briquette smokiness

As soon as we sat down, we ordered our family’s usual pick! No need even to glance at the menu—we went straight for the Dwaeji Hangeun pork platter. One order comes with 600g, including pork neck and pork belly! It’s wonderfully generous, making it the perfect great-value menu for our family of three to eat until we’re full.

You all know how charcoal briquettes are in a completely different league from ordinary gas grilling, starting with the aroma, right? Put thick, fresh meat right onto the grill and that charcoal-briquette fragrance coats it all over. The heat is so strong that the outside turns crisp while the inside stays juicy, and it cooks quickly too. This is truly a Gajeong Station favorite I can confidently recommend to everyone with a big thumbs-up.

A family meal where our child ate well too

And the biggest reason I rave about this place above all!! Our child eats the meat here so, so well. Kids’ taste buds are honestly eerily accurate, aren’t they? If meat is even a little tough or smells off, they’ll spit it out, but they eat this meat so well. They finish a whole bowl of rice all by themselves. Since our child ate so happily without any fuss, my husband and I could really relax and focus on our own chopsticks.

The pork and bibim naengmyeon pairing

When we were about two-thirds of the way through the meat, we added its inseparable soulmate when eating barbecue: bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles). Honestly, from the moment we started grilling, all I could think about was wrapping meat around bibim naengmyeon noodles haha.

I cut the chilled noodles crisscross with scissors and mix them thoroughly with the generous sweet, spicy, tangy house sauce. Then I place one big, beautifully grilled piece of pork on top and slurp the noodles… heaven…. The pleasing savory flavor wakes up your appetite, so even when you’re full, you somehow make room for more meat. This bibim naengmyeon neatly washes away the rich heaviness of pork that you can start to feel toward the end of the meal. If you come here, everyone, bibim naengmyeon isn’t an option—it’s essential!

This was our Nth return visit, yet Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch has never disappointed us even once—we always leave satisfied! Thanks to the kind owner and staff, we wrapped up another successful family meal, happily patting our very full bellies. If you want to properly taste that deep charcoal-briquette smokiness or are looking for a truly reliable Gajeong Station restaurant, don’t hesitate—go right away. I especially, especially recommend it if you’re looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant near Gajeong Station where you can eat with a child, like we did!
