I recently visited Eopu Kitchen, a great restaurant near the Seohae District Office in Incheon! It had been such a long time since I’d had Italian food—I went in without huge expectations, but came home having found a lifetime favorite. Here’s my honest review!

Eopu Kitchen location and hours

It’s near the Seohae District Office in Seongnam-dong, Seohae-gu!

Tuesday through Sunday, it’s open 11:00–21:00; it’s regularly closed on Mondays ❌, and last orders are at 20:30.

Where do you park?

Guide to the nearby public parking lot

There isn’t a dedicated parking lot in front of the restaurant, so I parked at a nearby public lot! It takes about seven minutes to walk to Eopu Kitchen.

Its name is Parking Tower, but it isn’t actually a tower—it has four floors! The spaces were plentiful and the price seemed pretty affordable too. (₩1,200 per hour)

Naver reservations are available.

Apparently, it received an excellent evaluation in the Western-food category in Incheon’s Seo-gu and was featured in the Matchelin Guide too! Eopu Kitchen is also a pregnancy-friendly discount business, so there are lots of benefits for pregnant guests~

Wood-and-green interior with spacious tables

The moment I stepped inside, I loved the wood-and-green interior! The tables were large and generously spaced, which made it feel so comfortable..~ It was immediately clear that this was a clean, pleasant space.

A few more guests came in after I arrived, but it was nicely quiet and great for conversation. The tables are especially roomy, so it seemed like it would be easy to bring children along. The restroom is inside!

There was a separate drink refrigerator stocked with various wines and drinks, including options for kids!

Menu and lunch-set order

They had all the classic Italian dishes: pasta, pizza, risotto, pilaf, steak, and salad! There was such a wide selection. There were especially lots of pasta options, and I wanted to try them all..

Ordering the pasta lunch set

Since we came for brunch, we ordered a lunch set! We chose the pasta set: aglio e olio, shrimp cream risotto, house salad (garlic dressing), Bundaberg, and green grape ade. The risotto and drinks had an extra charge, so the total for three dishes and two drinks came to ₩48,000.

Brunch lunch-set order details

They also have Americano on the drink menu. Food and coffee for brunch 👍,,, and there’s no extra charge for coffee! The prices were seriously reasonable. Looking at the menu, I said, “This owner is running an honest business..~” haha

Aglio e olio and shrimp cream risotto

Full spread of aglio e olio and risotto

Ta-da~ Let’s look at the whole spread first! Doesn’t it look so deliciousㅠㅠ? I wanted to dig in as soon as it arrived, but waited to take the full-table shot..

Full lunch-set spread

First, they brought us bread before the meal. It was crisp outside and soft inside—delicious, and it made my appetite grow even more!

Pre-meal bread and house salad

House salad with garlic dressing

The house salad was incredibly generous for a house salad. It had a variety of fresh leafy greens!

House salad with garlic dressing

And the garlic dressing I chose was especially the star of the show,,,👍 It had the consistency of a yogurt sauce with a garlicky flavor, and it worked so well. They even sprinkled Grana Padano cheese over it, making it perfect. Salad, garlic dressing, and cheese together—this is it…………🥹 If you order the house salad, you absolutely have to try the garlic dressing!

Shrimp cream risotto that isn’t heavy

Whenever I order risotto, I always worry it might be too rich, but this wasn’t heavy at all—it was a little spicy and so delicious!! I fell for it at the first bite…..🤩 The rice wasn’t overcooked either; it was cooked right in the middle.

There were also enormous shrimp in it, and I could tell they used really fresh, high-quality shrimp. They were so big and plump, with the best pop when you bit into them…⭐️

The owner really doesn’t hold back on the ingredients.. As I ate, this busybody started worrying that the owner might be running too honest a business. That’s how much care goes into the food while the prices still feel like such a bargain!!

Generous shrimp cream risotto

Generous aglio e olio and drinks

What more is there to say? Of course the aglio e olio was delicious toooo, and it was the biggest portion of aglio e olio I’ve ever had. How far does this owner’s honest business go….

Aglio e olio and green grape ade

Green grape ade/Bundaberg. The house-made ade was delicious too. The care in placing lemon and those little leaves on top of the ade.. I could feel that nothing was simply sent out to customers without attention to every detail!

Final thoughts

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I give it 10,000 points out of 10

Everything was delicious, the portions were amazing, and the prices were reasonable—this was a restaurant where the owner’s honest approach really came through! It is a little inconvenient that there’s no parking and you have to park elsewhere and walk over, but I’d still absolutely visit again! Eopu Kitchen had great food, atmosphere, and prices.
