Seohae Korean BBQ: charcoal ribs and bibimbap at Euljiro Yeontan Gui
In short
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch is a charcoal-grilled Korean BBQ restaurant in Seohae, Incheon. I had marinated ribs, marinated beef rib meat, Samsuni bibimbap, and pork skin, and loved the retro old-school atmosphere and generous self-serve banchan. Verdict: come hungry for a wonderfully full meat-and-bibimbap feast.

A charcoal-grilled meat restaurant near Gajeong Station
Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch sits in Luone City. It is only about a five-minute walk from Exit 6 of Gajeong Station on Incheon Metro Line 2, so it is wonderfully easy to reach. Parking is available in the building too, making it just as perfect for driving over.

A retro, old-school restaurant interior
The interior at this Gajeong-dong favorite, Euljiro Yeontan Gui, is retro old-school charm itself. That dangerously drink-inducing old-school mood suits autumn so well that I was instantly smitten from the moment I walked in. It is just the right size for sitting close together and grilling meat over a chat, and the staff are kind too.

Ribs and bibimbap: my chosen order
Meat is the main event here, with a wide variety of beef, pork, and even pork skin. There is seafood and shellfish as well, which makes it so nice to sample a real variety. After much deliberation, I went for the dream-team combination of ribs, marinated beef rib meat, and bibimbap (mixed rice).

Just seeing the lineup of banchan (side dishes) that arrived with the order made me happy..! You can help yourself to as much more of these varied side dishes as you like from the self-serve corner at one side of the restaurant. There are other kinds of sides beyond the ones served by default, so I definitely recommend taking a look.

Samsuni bibimbap, perfect while the meat grills
The owner thoughtfully brought out the bibimbap first. Do not underestimate it just because it is an inexpensive side menu item: this place may be famous in Gajeong-dong for samgyeopsal (pork belly), but the Samsuni bibimbap is seriously, truly delicious.

It comes generously topped with namul (seasoned vegetables), fresh vegetables, and a fried egg; the quantity is huge, and the combination and textures are perfect. Eating the bibimbap while the meat cooks means there is not a single boring moment, so this is an absolute must-order.

Marinated ribs grilled over charcoal briquettes
At this Gajeong-dong favorite, you really do grill meat, shellfish, and seafood over charcoal briquettes. The prices are so affordable that it is ideal for picking out a little of this and that, so let us start loading up the grill. First up: marinated ribs that everyone, young and old, will love.

I rolled them around carefully on the grill so they would not burn, but do not dismiss them just because they are affordable. If you visit with children, this alone will have them polishing off a bowl of rice! For adults, it is the ultimate cheat code for calling for both rice and drinks.

The ribs, beautifully marinated with sweet and salty flavor, are delicious even on their own, but wrapping them in greens makes for an even heartier bite. I could not resist making a huge ssambap (rice-and-filling wrap) with bibimbap and meat together.

Chewy marinated beef rib meat and pork skin
Then there was the marinated beef rib meat, with a look that needs no further words.. At prices like these, how could I eat only pork? Since it is beef, there is no need to grill it for long; eat it once the pinkness has faded to just the right degree.

The signature chewiness of rib meat meets the sweet marinade for a truly heavenly flavor..! The more you chew, the more savory juices flow out—a dangerously delicious taste that makes you happy—so please do order it.
Finally, I added pork skin, which you absolutely have to eat almost like dessert. You may come to Euljiro Yeontan Gui for Gajeong-dong samgyeopsal and leave completely won over by the pork skin. Honestly, this pork skin is no ordinary contender.

It is chewy without being tough, savory, and..! It is not greasy, the seasoning is spot-on, and there is not even a trace of any off smell. Ah, this deliciousness is making me want it all over again just looking at the photos. As I write, all I can say is that you have to try every single thing. That is how good every dish is, without putting pressure on your wallet, so go and enjoy as much as your heart desires.
Personally, I found it to be a wonderfully abundant meat restaurant, complete with samgyeopsal and bibimbap. If you want tasty grilled meat in a cool old-school indoor-pocha atmosphere on a crisp autumn day, give it a stylish visit!
