Oldsse Seochon is a hanok café hidden down an alley! The quiet, unhurried feel from the entrance really suits Seochon 😊 There's no big sign, so I'll admit — I walked right past it once!

Since it's a 29cm home gallery, it felt like browsing a furniture pop-up! The floor-to-ceiling glass made everything feel open and airy, and being set in a Seochon alley gave it that distinct neighborhood atmosphere.

There's a spot to sit outside if there's a wait, which looked comfortable for waiting around. No real terrace, but it had that terrace-like feel!

The café has full glass windows so you get a great view of the Seochon alley — very atmospheric. The combination of the alley view and the hanok makes you want to keep coming back 😊 Looked like they open the windows wide once the weather cools down.

Little decorative touches throughout paired nicely with the hanok's wood, making it fun just to look around!

One of Oldsse's charms is how the chairs bring in a traditional feel — reviving traditional patterns as chair design is a clever idea, don't you think! It's a space where even foreign visitors can feel Korean aesthetics, so it has value beyond just being a café.

There's also a little goods corner off to one side! The small trinkets are so cute. They even hand out Oldsse stickers for free.

Can you sit indoors with your dog at Oldsse Seochon?

It was great that Oldsse Seochon is dog-friendly and lets dogs stay inside with you. I've heard a lot of places claim to be dog-friendly but don't actually let dogs indoors. The open kitchen layout let me catch the smell of coffee being brewed, and the traditional mural-style artwork looked great too.

What's on the menu at Oldsse Seochon

Oldsse Seochon has a nice range of coffee options, from hand-drip to espresso-based drinks, and the hand-drip lineup is varied enough to be perfect for coffee lovers! There's also a wide selection of desserts beyond coffee, so it seemed like a good place to spend some time.

Iced latte and einspänner at Oldsse Seochon

I ordered an iced latte and an einspänner, and the iced latte came out first. The einspänner — cream on top of drip coffee — took a bit longer, it seemed.

Doesn't just looking at it make you think of a nutty latte 😋 The cup had a nice atmosphere and was cute too, matching the coaster well!

The tea coaster is cute, the cup is cute — and best of all, the muddler with 'Oldsse' printed on it is the real highlight! I really love these small cute details.

The einspänner has nutty, sweet cream on top of drip coffee — if you drink the cream first without mixing, it's genuinely delicious! The drip coffee had good aroma too, which paired well with the cream. Next time I want to try a different hand-drip option.

The latte-and-einspänner combo was great, spending quiet time in an atmospheric hanok café was great, and being able to bring my dog indoors was great — everything about this café was good.
