Unlimited cocktails for ₩18,000 at V-Lab Konkuk

A review of V-Lab Konkuk, a cocktail spot with insanely good value.

Today I'm introducing a place where you can drink unlimited cocktails for just ₩18,000, bring in outside food (snacks), and enjoy things like a dartboard, claw machine, and board games — a perfect low-pressure spot to visit with a partner or friends.

There are branches all over, but the one I visited was the Konkuk location, less than a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Konkuk University Station.

The 2nd-floor entrance and floor seating

V-Lab is located on the 2nd floor.

Once inside, there were more seats than I expected, and what surprised me was how much floor seating there was haha — both on the left and right sides from the entrance.

Unlimited pass vs. ₩9,000 single drinks

Each table had a menu/guide board — like any cocktail bar there were tons of cocktail options, but V-Lab also sells a bunch of highballs you can only get here haha.

The real advantage of V-Lab is being able to drink multiple cocktails at a cheap price, and unlimited at that‼️‼️ Cocktails usually run ₩9,000 to mid-₩10,000s depending on the place, but at V-Lab you can drink unlimited cocktails for just ₩18,000. Crazy, right haha.

If you don't drink much you might not care, but for anyone who has at least 2-3 cocktails, the unlimited pass could be a great option.

With the unlimited pass you can drink anything on the menu, and if you'd rather order individually, single drinks are ₩9,000 — good for groups where people want different things.

Outside food allowed — we brought in pizza

V-Lab also sells snacks like popcorn and Hangang ramyeon, but as long as it's not too smelly or a soup-type dish, you can bring in outside food freely, so it's fine to just come for drinks too.

Since I wanted to try a bunch of sweet cocktails, my companion and I bought the unlimited pass.

+ We brought Papa John's pizza from outside as a snack..

Order by QR and you can even adjust the ABV

You order through the QR code at your table, and get a KakaoTalk notification when your drink is ready,

then you go pick it up at the bar counter — such a fun setup. Even better, when ordering by QR you can adjust the ABV of each cocktail. My first orders were the strawberry highball and the V-Lab grapefruit.

Strawberry highball, V-Lab grapefruit

With the alcohol turned down low, it barely tasted like liquor at all — more like a sweet, tangy soft drink, super easy to drink. The strawberry highball was good, but I think I liked the V-Lab grapefruit even more — it tasted kind of like the grapefruit honey black tea at Starbucks!!

Banana-Fed Cow

After that I ordered the Banana-Fed Cow, which tastes like banana milk spiked with liquor.. it had a strong alcohol kick for something that's supposed to be banana milk, a pretty unique taste haha.

Pineapple sorbet flavor, my favorite

This drink was my favorite. It genuinely tastes like pineapple sorbet, perfect for cooling off in the hot summer 👍

Vodka-based — lightweights beware

My companion wanted something with a stronger taste, so they ordered a vodka-based one, which had that sharp, distinct vodka bite — I'd recommend lightweights skip this one..

The cha-ju they set on fire

The last drink we had was cha-ju (Korean fire liquor), a cocktail they literally set alight. So you don't get hurt(?), the bartender kindly explains how to drink it before you try it — apparently it's mixed with higher-proof liquor toward the top, so at the end you get that burning-throat taste, like actual fire flavor.

We were too full to drink a huge amount, but between the two of us we tried 5-6 drinks, so I'd say we got our money's worth ㅎ.ㅎ Soju alone runs ₩6,000-7,000 these days, so getting delicious mixed cocktails for this price is something!!

Dartboard, claw machine, board games too

I spent so much time on the drinks that I couldn't cover everything, but there's also a claw machine, dartboard, board games, and more, so it's never boring to visit with friends or a partner. Being in a university area, this place seems to have both value and fun nailed down, and I'd love to come back.

Don't skip the popcorn

+ The popcorn isn't just a store-bought snack — they warm up the bag in the microwave for you. Skip other snacks if you want, but definitely try the popcorn.. it's seriously delicious.
