Jeonju House is known for pork belly, but it is a solid choice on days when you just want a filling Korean meal.

Madang Itneun Jip (마당있는집) is a reservation-only hanjeongsik (Korean full-course set meal) restaurant on Dwitdammal-gil in Geumsan-eup, Geumsan, Chungnam, featured on Heo Young-man's Baekban Gihaeng and said to use organic ingredients for most dishes. The writer ordered the ginseng set meal for two and tried Ulleungdo myeongi (pickled wild garlic leaves), soy-marinated crab, shrimp and abalone, a big yellow croaker, grilled eel, lotus leaf rice, homemade dongdongju (rice wine) the owner served free, and jujube tea with perilla seed gangjeong for dessert. The writer rates Madang Itneun Jip as the best hanjeongsik visited recently, a Geumsan pick for taking parents out, hosting guests or group gatherings.
