Where is Zilhal Bros Sangam and when is it open?
Zilhal Bros Sangam is at 17 Woldeukeopbuk-ro 54-gil, Building B, 1st floor, Unit 115, Mapo-gu, Seoul, 969 m from Exit 1 of Susaek Station on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. Today I visited Zilhal Bros Sangam, a great lunch spot in Sangam! Zilhal Bros is a franchise famous for halal food. I've eaten at the Gangnam branches a lot, like Cheongdam and Yeoksam, and it looked like they'd just opened in DMC, so I stopped by!

What's the atmosphere like at Zilhal Bros Sangam?
It hasn't been open long, but they must be keeping it up well, because the place was so pleasant and clean! Digital Media City is full of MBC and other broadcasters, and the vibe is just right for an office lunch.

Ordering at the kiosk: pay upfront
You order at Zilhal Bros Sangam with the kiosk~!

It's a pay-upfront system :>

What's on the Zilhal Bros menu?
Zilhal Bros is a halal specialist, so there's no pork, and the menu comes in three types made with chicken or lamb: over rice (like a poke bowl with rice and vegetables), a burrito (rice rolled in a tortilla), and a kebab (vegetables instead of rice). I usually go for the combo, which has both chicken and lamb.

You can choose regular or large, and upgrade to a set with a drink and half-size fries. You can add extra meat too.

Sides include fries and onion rings, and there was a wide choice of drinks too.

Order done!

The food comes out after a short wait. I ordered a bit of everything, haha: fries with chicken tenders and sauce, a kebab with vegetables and meat wrapped in a tortilla and no rice, and the combo over rice with both chicken and lamb. I ordered just one cola, and they kindly gave two ice cups for the two of us 👍🏻

Is the Zilhal Bros combo rice worth ₩12,900?
The combo rice (₩12,900) is pretty much Zilhal Bros' signature: two kinds of meat, halal-style rice, lettuce, tomato and jalapeño, served with a tortilla and drenched in sauce. It's a well-balanced meal of carbs, protein and fat, and the low-₩10,000s price is good too 😄 With prices these days,, it's hard to find a lunch piled with this much meat for under ₩13,000 T_T

Mix the combo rice instead of eating it like a rice bowl
At Zilhal Bros you should mix everything together well with the sauce. It's not something you scoop like a rice bowl; mix it properly and the flavor comes out 100%!

That yellow rice, the lamb and the sauce feel like Zilhal Bros' identity. It tastes sort of familiar, yet light, healthy and a little bit punchy. It's a great way to get a tasty meal done.

Is the Zilhal Bros lamb kebab filling without rice?
The lamb kebab (₩6,900) has no rice, but it's quite filling. I've had it at another branch before, and for under ₩7,000 it makes a healthy meal.

It's packed with sauce, vegetables and lamb, so it works for breakfast, lunch or even a dinner diet menu.

Zilhal Bros chicken tenders & fries: first impressions
I ordered the chicken tenders & fries (₩13,700) for the first time this visit. The tenders and fries come with a chipotle-ish sauce? Zilhal Bros is also a great spot for fries, haha. The chicken was pretty tasty too, so this one was good.
