Dangsan Station pizza pub for an easy second round: Long Time No See
In short
Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is a pizza and self-tap beer pub on the 2nd floor near Exit 12 of Dangsan Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a second round after dinner, the writer used a wristband tag to pour as much as they wanted from 29 beers. They also ate the 'Pogeunhan Neoui Pumsok' (포근한 너의 품속) potato pizza with mashed potato on 72-hour aged dough, plus the set chicken. Atmosphere at Long Time No See Dangsan Branch

It's just a 1-minute walk from Dangsan Station Exit 12, so it's very easy to get to.

The pub is on the 2nd floor.

Inside, it was bigger and more comfortable than I expected. Thanks to the relaxed vibe and a playlist that brings back old memories, most of the customers were a bit older. I'm not young anymore either, so it wasn't noisy and was actually comfortable~
How does the self-tap beer at Long Time No See work?
The biggest strength of Long Time No See is its self-tap system. Fitting for a place that represents Yeongdeungpo tap beer, you can pour as much as you like from 29 different beers yourself.

Each person gets a wristband. Put it on, tag it at the beer you want, pour the amount you like, and carry it back. That's it!
At normal beer places I'd often order a glass and then leave some because I was full or it didn't suit my taste, but at Long Time No See you can adjust the amount to your preference, so you can try several kinds without pressure.

The price per 10ml is listed, and I liked that the amount and price show up right on the screen as you pour.

Cold is everything with beer, and the glasses were kept very cold too.

If you don't want tap beer, there's also beer by the glass and regular bottled soju.

The pizza selection is as varied as at a pizza specialty shop. Besides pizza, there are plenty of other dishes too, so you have a wide range to choose from.
How does the 72-hour aged dough potato pizza taste?

One reason Long Time No See is called a go-to spot in Dangsan is its pizza.

The dough is aged for a full 72 hours, giving it a texture that's crispy yet chewy.

I ordered the potato pizza called "Pogeunhan Neoui Pumsok" (포근한 너의 품속, "in your warm embrace"). Instead of the usual apple-shaped potato pieces you might imagine, it features mashed potato.
The mashed potato was so smooth it seemed to melt in my mouth, and it went beautifully with the chewy dough.

I thought, the claim that a beer master and a pizza master run this place together is no empty talk.
The chicken that came with the set

The chicken that came as part of the set.

Honestly, I'd already eaten and was full from the first round, so I didn't get to taste the chicken, but my companion enjoyed it a lot.
Is Long Time No See a good second-round spot near Dangsan Station?
