One Play Jamsil Branch is more than a manga café

The weather was too awkward for wandering around, so while looking for somewhere indoors, I went to a manga café for the first time. It's a place where you can enjoy not just manga but OTT and games too, so I went in comfortably. It seemed like a great spot for an indoor date in Jamsil on a hot or rainy day, good for families with kids, friends, and couples alike. It was especially clean and well-kept, and once I actually visited, I could see why so many families come here.
Where One Play Jamsil Branch is and how check-in works
One Play Jamsil Branch is at 20 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 2nd–3rd floors. I liked how clean the exterior looked, as in the photo above. One Play is a multi-content space where you can enjoy manga along with board games, OTT, and console games all in one spot.

You go up to the 3rd floor first to set your time, then head down to the 2nd floor!
Prices and the weekday 10,000-won unlimited event

The basic pricing plan is as shown above. The package is definitely a good deal. On weekdays there's a ₩10,000 unlimited-use event, so I'd recommend coming then! Instead, in the afternoon you have to put your name on the waiting list for a room. Still, you can just spend the time reading manga while you wait!
On days without time limits, I think you could use the space even more fully. While waiting, you can wait comfortably inside regardless of the weather outside. Or just read manga while you wait!
What's on the menu at One Play Jamsil Branch

The cakes were proper too, so the café menu alone was solid!

I honestly thought food at a place like this would just be simple snacks, but I was pleased to see full meal items, bunsik (Korean street-food snacks), hot food, and desserts all ready to go, with plenty of variety. The reviews were good too. There's a lot to choose from, and it can get crowded, so it seems best to order right away and wait if you can!
What manga you can read at One Play Jamsil Branch

The inside is pretty spacious. There was a wide range, from webtoons to manga. Hwasan Gwihwan (Return of the Blossoming Blade)! Nice to see that one there.

There were quite a few popular manga titles too.
Why One Play Jamsil Branch works for an indoor date
The inside is quite spacious. That made it feel comfortable and airy.
It's good for couples on a date, good for coming with friends, and good for family outings with kids — the biggest advantage was that even if everyone wants to do something different, it can all be handled in one space! I could hear kids' excited voices from inside. Everyone seemed to be in a happy mood, spending time actually trying out all the different things there.
The rooms were pretty large too, comfortably enough space for two people to relax. Plus one side had a view outside, which seemed nice for gaming.

Renting Nintendo and PlayStation at One Play Jamsil Branch
Turns out they had Nintendo too! Just one Nintendo game can already make time fly, and at One Play Jamsil Branch you can access a variety of consoles, which seemed especially perfect for people who love gaming! Not just Nintendo but PlayStation too, so you could switch it up — Nintendo today, PlayStation next time, board games in between. That was great. So I'd also recommend this place to anyone searching for a Nintendo café in Jamsil! You can rent after submitting your ID!

There was also a wide variety of board games, good for coming with friends and good for an indoor date with a partner.
I also saw quite a few family visitors with kids — while the kids enjoyed games together, the parents could relax or enjoy other content, which made it seem like a good fit for family visits too.
Was One Play Jamsil Branch worth it?

From coffee to simple snacks, everything was warm and tasty!

At first I thought a manga café would just be a place to read manga and relax, but once I actually went in, there was really a wide variety of things to enjoy.
You can read manga, then move on to board games, then switch from Nintendo to PlayStation
You could also take a short break and watch whatever movie or content you wanted on OTT.

Coming into One Play and cooling off while enjoying all these different things was so convenient and nice. Read manga, play Nintendo, play board games, order food when you get hungry in between, and finish off with whatever movie you want — comfortably, without ever needing to step outside. It was a great indoor thing to do in Jamsil for rainy days, sweltering summer days, or even cold winter days.
