How to walk to Heiro from Jamsil Station

Heiro Jamsil Lotte World is reachable by heading toward the Lotte World Adventure gate from Exit 4 of Jamsil Station. The route isn't hard, but it can be confusing the first time.

The floor connected to the subway is B1, but Heiro is on B3, so you need to take the Ice Garden escalator in the middle of the gate down. Once you go down, you'll immediately see a Paul Bassett café, and right behind it is Heiro Hair salon. Note that there's also a Paul Bassett on B1, so don't stop there thinking you've arrived!!

Anyway, once you go down, this is what you see right away. Just head down to B3 and it's easy to find.

Inside Heiro: private seats split by partition walls

The inside is much bigger than it looks from outside, and the space is divided by partition walls in between, giving it a pretty private feel.

There's also an individual shampoo room for each guest, so you can get your clinic treatment and shampoo done privately. I had no idea a salon like this existed underneath Lotte World!!!

Maybe the salon is newly opened, because the interior and fixtures were super clean. Head spa seems to be the main care service, and it was a great place to get a spa or clinic treatment.

The consultation before treatment starts

First we checked her hair condition and the style she wanted, then settled on the final treatment. My friend wanted Kim Na-young's bob tassel cut... but her curls couldn't handle that, so we finally decided on a bob layered cut plus scalp spa⭐️

Before the cut, we started with the scalp spa, and first they gave us a drink and snack. Haha.

AI scalp diagnosis before the scalp clinic, score included

Before the full head spa, we did a scalp diagnosis. It was my first time at a place that runs a questionnaire and a detailed scan together, so it felt novel.

That machine scans the scalp to check sebum levels and hair root health. It can also check hair density.

Her scalp condition magnified on screen..! It looked way cleaner than expected, which surprised us both (?). She's normally very dry-skinned with a lot of flaking, but apparently it's gotten less dry since having her baby, so maybe that's why...

Meanwhile, the AI also analyzed the questionnaire plus the diagnosis results and gave a score..! Visually it looked really clean, but the score came out somewhere in the 60s. The scoring system seems to be stingier than expected (?)

What happens during the PGA scalp spa

Now, based on the diagnosis, they applied products suited to her scalp condition and started the head spa!

The scalp spa doesn't start with shampoo — instead they apply a product that dissolves dead skin cells and cares for the scalp, then rinse it out.

Next, you go into the spa room and lie down for a steam treatment.

They rinse off the scalp care product and you just lie there comfortably.

She became completely relaxed, dozed off a bit, and when she woke up her scalp was soft and refreshed — scalp care done.

One-on-one scalp cut with designer koi

After the head spa, we moved on to the scalp cut to tidy up the grown-out bob, and designer koi handled everything from the care to the cut personally. Usually an intern does the care part, but at Heiro, the designer does everything from start to finish⭐️

With very skilled, delicate hands, she did the layered cut. Bobs are especially hard to grow out, but she cut it in a shape that accounts for that, so it can grow out prettily into a future hush cut! She also explained in detail how to style and grow it out.

The result was..! Such a neat and tidy hair state. A busy mom's bob turned super clean 💖

At a glance it looks like that classic Song Hye-kyo 'chocolate mushroom' bob, but inside there are various layers built in, so even from the side or back the volume stays nicely rounded.
