What does Morimoly look like inside?

Morimoly is about a 7-minute walk from Exit 1 of Seoulsup Station. You order at a kiosk.

Inside Morimoly, the 1st floor is for ordering and pickup, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are for eating, with a really hip interior. The props are nicely done in a Mexican style too. (There's a photo zone between the stairs, so don't miss it!)
Morimoly's sushi taco menu and self-service bar

Morimoly is a sushi taco specialist! Combining Japanese and Mexican food, they've created a new style of dish. The unique menu lets you experience the freshness of Japanese food plus the casual feel of Mexican. (I wanted to try every single one!)

At Morimoly's self-service bar, I recommend grabbing the gloves and wet wipes you really need when eating tacos.
What does Morimoly's truffle wagyu taco taste like?

Our order arrived. From the photos, it looked like an unfamiliar combination and look 😂

Morimoly's truffle wagyu taco (₩16,900) is a taco with wagyu given a smoky, fire-grilled flavor with tare sauce (sweet soy-based glaze), served with house-made truffle sour cream.

Fresh ingredients and spices are piled generously on a gimbugak (crispy seaweed chip): rice, vegetables, wagyu, cilantro, cheese, truffle sauce and more. Instead of a soft tortilla, it's wrapped in gimbugak, a taco reinterpreted in Japanese style.

The one thing you can't skip with Mexican food: squeezing on the lime!

On the first bite, the crisp seaweed and the soft filling work so well together that you think, "Am I eating sushi right now?"

One bite in, and there's the rice! It feels like eating one giant piece of sushi. The fresh lime lifts the flavor and cuts the richness.

The main ingredient is wagyu. A subtle truffle aroma rises from the cream and hits your nose, and it goes really well with the tender wagyu~ It was my first time trying a sushi taco, and it's oddly addictive, the more you eat the more you keep eating 👍 You could say it nails both looks and taste.
Fries and house-made sauces at Morimoly

Morimoly's fries are crispy, sprinkled with seasoning~ The owner makes all the sauces by hand, too. Dipped in the house-made sauce, they're far better than ketchup.
Is Morimoly's chili takoyaki good too?

Morimoly's salsa takoyaki (chili takoyaki, ₩8,000) is takoyaki (octopus balls) with a spicy chili sauce and mayo combination.

This dish is Japanese plus Mexican too. Takoyaki, Japan's signature snack, is finished with chili sauce and cheese on top.

The spiciness of the chili goes well with the truffle cream taco. I was surprised that the takoyaki was unexpectedly good too 👀 This combo... is actually pretty good?
And the soda is Singha! (The owner really knows their stuff...)

When you're done, return your empty dishes to the return zone on Morimoly's 1st floor.
