Today I stopped by Daenghaus&Bingsuking (댕하우스&빙수킹), a dog-friendly café in Jung-gu, Daegu.
It's at 95-2 Jungang-daero 81-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea (a standalone building), and it's open every day from 11:00 to 22:00.
How far is Daenghaus&Bingsuking from Banwoldang Station?

This Daegu dog-friendly café is about a 9-minute walk from Banwoldang Station.

When you go in, you change into slippers. The staff greeted us so kindly, which I loved.
Daenghaus&Bingsuking also has a dog kindergarten, hotel and grooming salon
Besides the café, Daenghaus&Bingsuking also runs a dog kindergarten, a dog hotel and a grooming salon. There were even kindergarten bags, which were so cute!

There's a price list in front of the grooming salon, so you can check the cost in advance, which I liked. Grooming can raise questions depending on a dog's size or coat condition, so having prices posted makes it easy to get a rough idea.

How are the floors at Daenghaus&Bingsuking laid out?
1F café and outdoor dog pool
The first floor is the café, where you can enjoy drinks or a meal. The seating is mostly sofas, so you can sit comfortably, and I was happy with that.
There are also outdoor seats and a pool the dogs can use. So they can run around outside too.
2F mat play area, 3F rooftop and dog kindergarten
Head up to the second floor and you'll find an area where dogs can play on mats. There's a separate play space so they can move around and spend time comfortably. The third floor has a rooftop and the kindergarten space. Each floor of the building has a different purpose, which felt different from just using a café.
Restrooms and a travel-themed photo zone
The restrooms are inside the shop. They're separated by gender and kept clean, so they were easy to use.
There's also a photo zone for dogs, decorated with a travel concept. Unlike photos taken at home, a special backdrop like this seemed great for keepsake pictures.

What's at the self-service bar
The self-bar at Daenghaus&Bingsuking had water for dogs, blankets, a lint roller, Wi-Fi and more. Even providing drinking water for the dogs felt like a thoughtful touch for pets.

How to order at Daenghaus&Bingsuking and what's on the menu
You order through a kiosk at Daenghaus&Bingsuking. It was easy to browse the menu slowly and pick the drink or meal I wanted.

Besides desserts, there are meal options like ramyeon (Korean instant noodles), so you can use the place differently from just coming for a drink.

Coffee, lemonade and ramyeon on a date with my boyfriend
One drink per person is required at Daenghaus&Bingsuking. Since it was just the two of us, my boyfriend chose coffee and I went with lemonade. I also ordered ramyeon to make it my meal.

The staff brought the coffee and food right to our table, so we enjoyed it comfortably. When I ordered the ramyeon, they thoughtfully brought kimchi along too, which made it even tastier.

Can you visit Daenghaus&Bingsuking without a dog?
When I visited, quite a lot of guests had brought their dogs. So it was fun to stay at the café with my boyfriend and see so many different dogs. If you love dogs, just watching their cute little antics can lift your mood, right? We ended up smiling naturally.
I liked that you can use Daenghaus&Bingsuking even without a dog, so we could relax here too. If you love dogs but don't have one yourself, a place like this might catch your interest. I had a different kind of time, sipping drinks with my boyfriend and watching the dogs.
Unlike typical dog-friendly cafés, they air the space often and clean at every moment, so I could relax and have a good time while staying there.
If you're looking for a dog-friendly café in Dongseongno full of cute dogs like we were, I hope you'll stop by Daenghaus&Bingsuking.
