Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch (한마음정육식당 송도타임스페이스점) is a Songdo Timespace restaurant that impressed me with its premium aged raw meat. It's big, and the play room is really well done, so it's a great Songdo BBQ place for a family meal or a group dinner.

Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch is on the 2nd floor of Building B, Songdo Timespace, and it's open 16:00-22:00 on weekdays and 12:00-22:00 on weekends. Group seating, reservations, Wi-Fi, a play room, separate men's and women's restrooms, high chairs, takeout and parking are all available.

Take the elevator in Building B of Songdo Timespace up to the 2nd floor and you'll find Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch. They registered our parking when we visited, so parking was easy. By public transport, just go straight from Exit 5 of Incheon National University Station, so it's easy to reach.

An interior great for Songdo group dinners and gatherings

The inside of Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch was spacious and pleasant. The hall has lots of tables and plenty of group seating, so it's a thumbs-up for a Songdo company dinner or group gathering!

It's inside Timespace, so you can visit whatever the weather, even in the rainy season like now. A great Songdo Timespace restaurant for that.

There's a large play room, so it's a kids' zone where you can eat with peace of mind when you bring children!

Inside there was a dedicated meat fridge for storing the aged raw meat, and the staff trim the meat themselves before serving it, so the freshness goes without saying >_<

What side dishes come as standard?

Even the basic side dishes at Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch stood out: fresh ssam vegetables, napa cabbage kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, pickled radish wraps, pickled perilla leaves, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), jjolmyeon (chewy wheat noodles) and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew).

The half aged pig set: cuts and taste

We ordered the half aged pig, a set that lets you enjoy pork belly, five-layer pork belly, pork jowl, gabrisal (pork neck-end) and pork neck all at once.

We put it straight on the grill, and the grill itself has strong heat and a non-stick surface, so the meat tasted even better.

Ordering the set lets you try many different cuts at once, which makes it a popular menu.

It's a butcher-shop restaurant, so the freshness was beyond words. The domestic raw pork was tender and not tough at all, a taste anyone of any age would like.

The thick, good-quality meat was full of juice, and the more I chewed, the nuttier it tasted.

Pork belly, five-layer pork belly, pork neck, pork jowl and gabrisal each had their own charm, which made this Songdo BBQ place even more enjoyable.

Is the free doenjang jjigae refillable?

Doenjang jjigae comes as a free standard service at Hanmaeum Meat Restaurant Songdo Timespace branch, and it was packed with ingredients, so the flavor was rich and excellent.

The owner walks around with the pot and refills it himself at tables that run low, which made it feel even more generous.

Free scallion jjolmyeon

Scallion jjolmyeon, piled high with shredded scallions, also came free to eat alongside the meat.

I mixed it well and tried it, and the combo of crunchy scallions and chewy jjolmyeon was excellent and addictive! And it's free? Total bargain >_<

It's good on its own, but eating the scallions and jjolmyeon together with the meat brings back even a lost appetite.
