Muhan Paldo Daepae Uijeongbu Millak Branch is at 394 Millak-ro, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and the place looks pretty huge even from outside.

Waiting seats with free hovenia tea and coffee
Right at the entrance there are waiting seats, and on one side they have barley tea (heotgaecha) and coffee set out, so it seems perfect for a drink after the meal or while you wait.

A spacious dining hall with group tables
Inside, it was roomy and comfortable just like it looked from outside, and with so many tables it seems ideal for groups. I visited in the evening and quite a few tables were already eating. There's also a kids' play area, so I guess that's why there were so many families.

Is Muhan Paldo Daepae good with kids? The playroom and monitor
There's a playroom on one side, and it's a decent size. A monitor is set up so you can watch the kids while you eat, which I loved, since you don't have to walk over to check on them.

How good is the all-you-can-eat daepae meat?
The meat corner has beef on one side and pork on the other, sorted by cut. Even though it's all-you-can-eat, the quality was good and each cut looked fresh, so I was satisfied.

What's at the self bar?
The self bar has tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), morning buns, lots of vegetables, plus mushrooms and sausages to grill alongside, so it's easy to pick what you like. There are plenty of sauces too, so you can eat with whichever sauce you want.

Side dishes on the table
I brought back the side dishes and vegetables I wanted from the self bar.

How to grill and eat thin-sliced daepae
I picked the cuts I wanted and grilled them on the plate. Daepae (thinly sliced meat) cooks fast, so there was no long wait and I could eat right away. I grilled kimchi, bean sprouts, gosari (bracken fern) and shredded scallions to eat alongside.
Lettuce wraps and dinner-roll burgers
I ate it in lettuce wraps and also built burgers in morning buns. Like I said, even though it's all-you-can-eat the meat quality didn't drop at all, there was no gamey smell, and it was juicy. Eaten with kimchi, bean sprouts and gosari, it all went together so well that I enjoyed it to the very end. The morning bun burger was a total treat!! I made one for my partner too, and they said it was delicious.

Perilla oil bibimbap: what happens when you add kimchi?
The perilla oil bibimbap here is normally just rice topped with seaweed flakes, perilla oil sauce and chopped scallions, then daepae on top, and done. But I added kimchi too, haha. This was a real treat too!!!!! The instructions are explained in detail on the usage guide, but I only glanced at them and went off to make it my own way, can you believe it..? Haha
With the kimchi in, the nuttiness of the perilla oil and the tanginess of the kimchi blended really well. The kimchi cut the richness so it never felt heavy, and it was still nutty, so good!!! I gave my partner a bite and they went, "Huh? What? This is good???" and then cleaned the whole bowl, haha.
Finishing with Hangang ramen
Hangang ramen is a must even when you're full! Full or not, you have to eat it!! After much agonizing, I chose Ansung Tangmyun.

I brought it back to the table to take a photo, and my partner said it'd look tastier with meat on top and added some... hehe. Anyway, I enjoyed the leftover meat and ramen all the way to the last bite.
Slushies for dessert
There are slushies on one side too, so I had one for dessert. Soda and orange flavors, both cold and delicious, and a great way to refresh your mouth at the end!
