A Jisan-dong meat restaurant with easy access from Songtan Station and Songtan City Hall Branch
If you are looking for a good restaurant in Songtan, I think Jugeokjip (주걱집), a Jisan-dong spot I am introducing today, is worth keeping an eye on.

Jugeokjip is conveniently located for Songtan Station and the Songtan City Hall Branch. With plenty of parking, it is also a comfortable Jisan-dong restaurant to visit by car.
Jugeokjip reportedly began with the aim of letting people in Songtan and Pyeongtaek enjoy delicious meat at reasonable prices.

They say they personally trim premium beef and pork and serve it at its most delicious, so this is a Jisan-dong restaurant that is serious about its meat.
Signature jugeoksal and the prepared meat selection
The signature item, named after the restaurant, is jugeoksal. It is said to be meat trimmed from around beef ribs, and pork belly, pork ribs, Prime-grade beef rib meat, and king-size beef ribs are also available.

Two servings of jugeoksal with kimchi jjigae and rice
On this visit, I ordered two servings of jugeoksal, kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew), and steamed rice. True to its signature status, the distinctive texture and charcoal smokiness of the jugeoksal worked beautifully together, and the kimchi jjigae served alongside it was also a great match for the meat.
After your first order, any additional meat order is offered at the add-on price even if it is not the same menu item, which is helpful if you want to try several kinds of meat without too much pressure. If you save the restaurant and turn on notifications on Naver, you can also check information about the free unlimited soju offer, so saving it before visiting is a good idea.

Price-wise, the signature jugeoksal is listed at around ₩26,000, while charcoal-grilled fresh pork belly is around ₩18,000. I recommend confirming the exact prices and menu selection with the restaurant once more before visiting.
Another feature of Jugeokjip is its 100% unlimited soju offer. If you order pork belly, pork ribs, signature jugeoksal, beef rib meat, garlic-marinated beef rib meat, or king-size beef ribs, you can reportedly enjoy soju without worrying about the cost.

What cut is jugeoksal?
Jugeoksal is meat trimmed from around beef ribs, and it is said to be a rare cut that comes in only small amounts from around the rib bones. Since not much comes from each animal, it can be difficult to find depending on the restaurant, so I found it impressive that Jugeokjip puts this cut forward as its signature menu.
Because fine marbling runs through the cut, a suitable amount of fat renders out as it cooks. It is tender yet chewy, so even first-timers should be able to enjoy it without finding it unfamiliar.
Grilled over charcoal, it had a lightly crisp exterior while staying moist inside, which really brought out the appeal of the cut itself. Pork belly, pork ribs, Prime-grade beef rib meat, and king-size beef ribs are available too, making this a good lineup for comparing various cuts beyond jugeoksal.
Group reservations for family gatherings and company dinners
Jugeokjip is presented as a space well suited to family gatherings and company dinners, with group reservations available for 10 to 200 people, so keep it in mind if you are planning a group get-together.

If you are looking for a Songtan restaurant where you can visit comfortably without worrying about parking, I recommend adding Jugeokjip in Jisan-dong to your list.
On this visit, I ordered two servings of jugeoksal, kimchi jjigae, and steamed rice. As befits a signature menu, the distinctive texture and charcoal smokiness of the jugeoksal came together really well.
The kimchi jjigae we ordered alongside was generously filled with meat—hearty enough to make a satisfying meal from the broth alone—and its rich, deep kimchi flavor was memorable. The spicy, deep kimchi taste, as though it had been aged for a long time, paired well with the savory juices of the jugeoksal. There was something fun about having a piece of meat, then a spoonful of kimchi jjigae broth. With rice, alternating between the meat and stew made for a satisfying meal.
Before visiting, I recommend checking the Naver restaurant page once more, as exact operating hours and event terms may change.
