What kind of place is Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch?
Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant selling Boseong Nokdon pork belly in Bucheon Sinjung-dong. I went craving good pork in the area, and it wasn't just the meat that impressed me — you can grill kimchi, minari, bean sprouts and potato right alongside it, so there are so many combinations to enjoy. 😊

Inside the restaurant and the seating
Walking in, the interior felt more spacious than I expected, with generous gaps between tables that made for a comfortable meal. It's great for friends or couples, but I could also see it working well for a bigger group gathering or a company dinner. 👍
There's meat aging on display too (no wonder it was so tender🧡)
Menu and how to order at the kiosk

What we ordered: Boseong Nokdon pork belly and rice
- 🥩 3 servings of Boseong Nokdon pork belly
- 🍚 2 bowls of rice

We ordered 3 servings of Boseong Nokdon pork belly and 2 bowls of rice.

What I liked was that sauce gets served separately to each person. At a lot of BBQ places everyone dips into one shared bowl of sauce, but here each diner gets their own, which felt more hygienic and let everyone eat comfortably at their own pace. It's a small thing, but it quietly made the meal that much better. 😊

Kimchi, minari and bean sprouts grilled beside the pork belly
What stood out most at Cham Dwaejitgan was the side ingredients grilled together with the meat. 🔥 Kimchi, minari, bean sprouts — they all go on the grill together, soaking up a little of the pork fat and tasting even better for it. Eating them grilled instead of just as regular side dishes has a totally different charm. The minari especially kept its fragrant, crisp texture and paired beautifully with the pork belly. 🌿

You can also freely grab vegetables from the self-bar!
Ahh~~

Rice bowls arrive! The rice is genuinely delicious too👍👍

Staff grill the pork belly for you
The moment the meat arrived, its thick, mouthwatering look already had me excited! 😆 Best of all, staff grilled the meat for us, so we could just relax and eat. Not having to babysit the grill meant we could actually chat through the meal.

The bean sprouts and kimchi also cut through the richness of the pork belly nicely, so having a bite of those between pieces of meat worked well. With so many ingredients grilling together, one grill alone felt like a full spread! 😋

But what I liked most of all was the potato. 🥔 You can make a potato wrap with it too

With grilled kimchi, minari, bean sprouts and potato alongside the pork belly, plus rice, the meal felt really filling. 🍚🥩

Salt, wasabi, minari, lettuce, bean sprouts — such a genuinely delicious combination🧡🧡

Every bite was good~

How do you eat the potato wrap?
A potato wrap at Cham Dwaejitgan means placing meat on a well-grilled potato slice and wrapping the pork belly in it. The potato gets grilled golden brown on the same grill — it's tasty on its own, but this restaurant has a fun spin on it. That's the potato wrap! 🤭 It works way better than you'd expect. The juicy meat meeting the mild, fluffy potato gives a completely different feel than a regular lettuce wrap.

At first I thought, wrapping meat in potato? But after one bite my hand kept reaching back for more. 😂 If you visit Cham Dwaejitgan, definitely try the potato wrap. Personally it was the combination I remember most! ⭐

And on the way out after the meal, there was free candy set out to take as you like. 🍭 Grabbing one on the way out gave the whole meal a nice, satisfying finish. Little touches like that stick with me. 😄
Is Cham Dwaejitgan worth a visit?
Overall, Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch was appealing for having staff grill the meat for you, and for letting you grill kimchi, minari, bean sprouts and potato right alongside it. The combination of Boseong Nokdon pork belly + grilled potato + meat = potato wrap especially was a fun menu idea that's hard to find at other BBQ places. 🥔🥩💕
If you're looking for a good pork belly spot in Sinjung-dong, give Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch a try — great meat plus a generous variety of sides. Next time I go, I'm definitely getting the potato wrap again. 😋🔥
