5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a soufflé spot in Seongsu near Seoulsup. I was walking in the park when I started craving something sweet, so I dropped in~ I'd seen a lot of talk on social media about the 5to7 fresh mango soufflé, and in person it was great, from the looks to the taste.

It's close to Seoulsup, so it works as a date spot, and it's also a nice place to relax over a cup of coffee!

The 5to7 sign hangs neatly at the entrance, so it was easy to find, and the café is up on the 2nd floor!!

What are the interior and seats like?

Wood-tone interiors and warm lighting made the café feel cozy~ Natural light from the big windows made my photos look lovely, and green trees outside the window gave a real Seoulsup feeling!

The tables are nicely spaced, so it's good for chatting, and there are terrace seats too, which would be great for coffee outdoors on a cool day~

On one side there were hand-drip tools and a coffee machine, so you can tell they're serious about coffee. It made me look forward to the coffee as much as the desserts! The soufflé batter machine was running the whole time too~

Soufflé menu and prices at 5to7

This time I ordered the fresh mango soufflé pancake, a Dutch americano and a café latte at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch.

The menu had a range: ube soufflé ₩21,000, tiramisu soufflé ₩20,000, matcha chocolate soufflé ₩21,000 and more, but the fresh mango soufflé (₩23,000) topped with seasonal fruit caught my eye most.

The drink menu is varied and pairs well with the desserts~ Coffee options are americano, café latte, vanilla latte and the 5 to 7 latte topped with house-made cream, and you can switch to decaf, so you can choose to taste!

At one end of the counter, a Ghirardelli membership plaque stood out!! It's certified by the premium chocolate brand that started in San Francisco, so you can tell the café cares about its chocolate desserts and ingredients~

Yes, there's a notice at the counter of 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch saying Seongdong local vouchers (Seongdong Love gift vouchers) are accepted, so you can pay with local currency~ The high oil price support fund can be used too, which makes it an easy Seoulsup café for Seongdong residents.

Being able to use local benefits means enjoying dessert and coffee at a better value, which is a plus haha

Taste and looks of the 5to7 fresh mango soufflé

The 5to7 fresh mango soufflé has white cream wrapped around a fluffy soufflé with yellow mango sorbet in the middle, so it looks like a fried egg. After a short wait, it came out with the drinks on a big wooden tray!!

The first thing I noticed was the puffed-up soufflé T_T It looked pretty from every angle, enough that I never got tired of taking photos~

I shot it on the windowsill, and with natural light and the green scenery the photos turned out even more atmospheric! I could see right away why people looking for a Seoulsup café soufflé recommend it as a photo spot.

When I carefully cut into the soufflé, the inside was fluffy like a cloud~ The fork went in softly with barely any pressure, it was moist, and it melted in my mouth.

The sweet cream and fluffy pancake went well together, and the fresh juice of the mango kept it from feeling heavy at all~ The mango was well ripened, deeply sweet and juicy, and eating it with the soufflé made it even better.

Do the café latte and Dutch americano go with the soufflé?

The 5to7 café latte balanced the softness of milk with the rich flavor of espresso. The layers were nicely separated, so it looked pretty in photos, and stirred well it tasted nutty with a gentle sweetness~

The 5to7 Dutch americano was clean without too much acidity, so it paired well with the sweet soufflé! Sipping the americano between bites refreshed my mouth, so I enjoyed it to the very end.

Would I go back to 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch?

5to7 Seongsu Main Branch was a great place for something sweet after a walk in Seoulsup~ The combo of fluffy soufflé and fresh mango was especially impressive, and the green view from the window and the atmospheric space made the whole stay satisfying!
