The base setting came with a variety of items — ciabatta, pickles, and basil mushroom soup. Among these, the pickles and soup could be refilled, so we could take our time while waiting 👌 The flavor was savory with real depth, so it was easy to snack on while waiting ❗

The seasonal salad at Bologna

I chose the A Set and swapped in bolognese ragu pasta and cube steak cream risotto. The seasonal salad that came out first had a tangy-sweet dressing that really woke up the appetite, and the vegetables were fresh too.

Bolognese ragu pasta

True to its status as the signature dish, the bolognese ragu pasta had a ragu sauce simmered for 4 hours that really impressed me. 👀 The way the meaty flavor and tomato harmonized together exceeded my expectations, personally.

Cube steak cream risotto

The cube steak cream risotto was surprisingly good, with the flavor of button mushrooms and king oyster mushrooms combined with the savory, rich thickness of the cream sauce.

The cube steak pieces were generously sized too, and the overall balance exceeded expectations in a way I really liked. If I come back again, this dish was good enough that I'd want to try a different set next time 😍
