Guri lash salon: no-glue lash perm for humid summers at Mippeudang

My lashes have been drooping so fast lately, even with a curler, so I finally went for a lash perm for the first time in a while. This time I visited Mippeudang Lash Guri (미쁘당 구리본점) near Guri Station. It's easy to get to, so it's perfect for dropping by after work 💛💛

Atmosphere at Mippeudang Lash Guri

The interior is cute, clean and warm, so I could relax without any tension. What impressed me most was that they even had phone chargers for different types of phones.

The moment I walked in, the cute interior caught my eye. Even the tiny props were decorated with so much charm that waiting was a pleasure. I was especially impressed by the thoughtfulness of having phone chargers for each type of phone, haha. You can feel that they sweat the small details so guests aren't inconvenienced, and thanks to those details I felt comfortable and happy even on my first visit.🥰💙

What's different about a no-glue lash perm?

Mippeudang Lash Guri does its lash perms with a no-glue method. Without glue, lash damage can be reduced a bit more, and they explained that the result lasts 7 weeks or more.

The no-glue method was honestly my favorite thing about Mippeudang. Plenty of places use glue for a regular lash perm, so I thought this would be easy even for people with sensitive eyes or anyone worried about lash damage. And lasting 7 weeks or more is a big selling point, yes!!

Is the treatment bed comfortable?

The treatment bed at Mippeudang Lash Guri is soft, and there's even a cushion to rest your legs on. My eyes never stung or felt uncomfortable during the whole treatment.

There's a cushion for your legs too!! The owner kept checking in to make sure nothing was uncomfortable, so I could relax completely. The bed was so soft it felt like I'd gone there to rest. 😊😊 I snored my way through it,, haha. It was so comfortable the treatment didn't feel long at all, and the owner's touch was so delicate that I felt reassured.🥰

Before and after the no-glue lash perm: does the curl last through summer?

After the no-glue lash perm at Mippeudang Lash Guri, my lashes lifted neatly, one by one, naturally and without bending too much. The curl lasted all day even in hot, humid summer weather, which was far easier than using a curler.

<After / Before> When I looked in the mirror after the treatment, I was really happy with it.❗️ Even without makeup my eyes looked defined, and without mascara it already looked pretty, so I was very satisfied.😊❣️

Using a curler every morning took surprisingly long, and now I think I can cut that time down. In hot, humid summers like this, lashes droop quickly even with a curler, but with the perm the curl lasted all day, which is so much easier. Having less to worry about when working out or on rainy days seems like a big plus too.💙

How do you care for lashes after a lash perm?

The owner at Mippeudang Lash Guri told me not to let my lashes sit in water or moisture for too long for about the first day after the treatment. She explained that as long as you don't rub your lashes hard, the curl will last a long time.
