I was looking for a good lunch spot at Dongtan Lake Park and found this naengmyeon place, so I went to Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch. Dongtan Lake Park view + naengmyeon, the best combo ever..♡
Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch hours and parking
Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch is open every day from 10:00 to 21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 17:00, and closed every Monday. You can park for free in the building's basement lot, and groups, takeout, and reservations are all possible.
I was able to park in the basement lot of the Luna Gallery building in Dongtan where Naengmyeon Gajun is. Parking around Dongtan Lake Park is usually tough, so having an easy parking lot was great!
Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch is on the 2nd floor of the building. The galbi jjim (braised short rib) menu caught my eye..🤤

As soon as you walk into Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch, the Dongtan Lake Park view opens up right in front of you. The lake view hits you the moment you step in..🫶🏻 Isn't this basically a café haha. The Dongtan Lake Park view was so pretty. This must be a great spot for the Luna Show too!!

This is the view from my seat. You could see all of Dongtan Lake Park!! You get to eat naengmyeon while looking out at this lake view🫶🏻 It'd be such a great date spot too.

The Naengmyeon Gajun Dongtan Main Branch menu also had a naengmyeon and galbi jjim set. The galbi jjim looked so delicious tooㅠㅠ But I came for a hangover cure, so I picked naengmyeon haha

Naengmyeon Gajun's mul naengmyeon is ₩7,900, and it comes with a spicy secret sauce that they say makes the flavor extra special. If you can't handle spicy food, you should ask to leave it out. I love spicy food, so this was right up my alley🫶🏻
But isn't that mul naengmyeon price crazy cheap..? ₩7,900.. Such great value for money these days.
The basic banchan (side dishes) were green onion kimchi, pickled radish, and seasoned radish. All clean and tasty.
The mul naengmyeon arrived. With the ice slush floating on top, it passed the visual test right away..🫶🏻

This is the spicy secret sauce!! Just look at the color of the seasoning, doesn't it look delicious. The portion of noodles was generous too, and the noodles were chewy and springy — this place is definitely a naengmyeon spot..♡
The broth was nice and cool, perfect for a hangover cure too. It wasn't too spicy, so even people who can't handle spice much could probably manage it. It had a rich, savory flavor and was really good🤤

The gochujang pork in Naengmyeon Gajun's naengmyeon set (₩16,000) came in a bigger portion than expected, so it was just right for the two of us to share.
The gochujang pork belly was full of smoky char flavor and really tasty. The meat was so tender too! It goes so well as a set with naengmyeon..👍🏻

Gochujang pork belly + mul naengmyeon, you know this combo is the golden rule right..? You have to wrap it in the naengmyeon noodles! Wrapping the meat in the noodles was so good ㅠㅠ

You know this dumpling skin!!? Totally chewy and thin skin..♡ I love mandu like this.
It's like a meat mandu but with a hint of octopus flavor, a new taste that was totally delicious! Best of all, the chewy skin was amazing..👍🏻 It pairs perfectly with naengmyeon haha
We ate until we were completely full. My boyfriend even stole bites of my naengmyeon haha. This is definitely the naengmyeon spot at Dongtan Lake Park🤤
