Pyeongchon Vietnamese restaurant with free parking: Pho Witch

Pho Witch is a Vietnamese restaurant in the food alley of the Pyeongchon academy district in Anyang, Gyeonggi. On a cool autumn day the sibling set brought pho, pad thai fried rice, cha gio (Vietnamese fried spring rolls) and a drink in one order, and Pho Witch also has about 4 to 5 free parking spots right in front plus waiting chairs by the door. The clear, deep broth alongside the smoky fried rice made Pho Witch an easy choice for a lunch meet-up in Pyeongchon.

Gwacheon seaweed soup restaurant, abalone-scallop set: Haenon Miyeok

Haenon Miyeok Gwacheon Direct Branch is a Korean restaurant in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi that serves seaweed soup set meals. One abalone-scallop seaweed soup set (26,000 won) and one beef seaweed soup set (20,000 won) were ordered and shared, and a Naver Reservation booking added a plate of fried shrimp for free. The broth was rich and the banchan plentiful, so Haenon Miyeok is worth recommending for a family meal.

Anyang gopchang restaurant with parking and daechang: Ilmigop

Ilmigop is a gopchang (grilled beef intestine) and daechang (grilled large intestine) restaurant on the first floor of the Bisan Hanshin the Hue commercial building in Bisan-dong, Anyang. With a weekday 5–7pm Naver reservation, Ilmigop served a complimentary woo samgyeop (thin-sliced beef belly), and the order was one assorted gopchang, one daechang and one fried rice, plus a free sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew). Parking in the building's own lot made driving easy, and Ilmigop suits anyone who wants to compare gopchang and daechang on the same table.
