Pyeongchon Vietnamese restaurant with free parking: Pho Witch

While trying to figure out lunch in Pyeongchon, I suddenly craved Vietnamese food after a long while, so I went to Pho Witch in Pyeongchon.

Honestly... the weather's gotten noticeably cooler lately. When the temperature drops suddenly, you start craving hot broth, haha. Let me introduce it right away. Let's go~~

Where is Pho Witch in Pyeongchon, and is there parking?

Pho Witch is located toward the food alley in Pyeongchon's academy district, so it's a great spot if you're looking for somewhere to eat around the academies or have a lunch appointment in Pyeongchon.

If you're driving, it's good to check the parking info beforehand. About 4–5 free parking spots are listed as available right in front of the store. That said, parking isn't exactly spacious, so spots might be full during lunch or dinner peak hours!! (Can't help it when it's a popular spot...)

If the spots out front are full, you can use the nearby Gwiin Roadside Public Parking Lot or Pyeongchon Parking Building — both about a 3-minute walk from the store, so no worries!

The store overall had a casual Vietnamese restaurant vibe that wasn't too heavy. The pink color used on the menu board and throughout the store, combined with that Vietnamese feel, gave it a bit of a different personality from a typical pho place.

The interior was neatly arranged and the table spacing wasn't too uncomfortable for a meal.

There are even chairs to sit on while waiting (definitely popular-restaurant energy, haha)

What comes in Pho Witch's sibling set: pho and pad thai fried rice

What we ordered was Pho Witch's sibling set. Looking at the menu, the sibling set is a combo of pho + fried rice + fried appetizer + drink, letting you try several menu items at once.

For our mains we chose pho and pad thai fried rice. When one person wants pho and the other wants fried rice, a set like this is really great, haha.

First, the pho had the look you'd expect from Vietnamese pho — clear broth piled high with meat.

The broth wasn't intensely seasoned but rather clean and rich, easy to keep eating without feeling weighed down. (It's a clear broth, endlessly drinkable...) The noodles went well with the broth, and paired with the meat, a single bowl was quite filling.

And personally, the menu item that exceeded expectations was the pad thai fried rice. That fluffy, distinctive fried-rice texture with amazing smoky wok flavor... plus sweet pineapple you'd bite into now and then... The sweet and salty pad thai-style flavor kept my chopsticks going back for more.

Take a sip of the pho broth, then a spoonful of fried rice — the combo was really good. For our final fried item, we picked cha gio (Vietnamese fried spring rolls). Crispy and salty... makes me think of a beer...

If you're visiting with two people, ordering separate individual dishes works fine too, but if you want to try several menu items like we did, the sibling set combo feels like a pretty good choice.

Why Pho Witch works for lunch in the Pyeongchon academy district

What I liked about Pho Witch was how wide the menu selection was.

It's not just a pho-only place — you can enjoy a variety of Vietnamese dishes like pad thai, fried rice, bún chả, bánh mì, and spring rolls, so it seemed easy to pick something no matter who you go with.

This unpretentious menu lineup seems especially handy for office workers' lunch or a casual meal during a Pyeongchon date. The pho is warm and filling, and the fried rice is a solid meal option, making it a good combo to recommend for anyone looking for a Pyeongchon lunch spot.

If you like spicy food, try one of the spicy pho varieties marked on the menu, and if you're going in a group, adding side dishes for a heartier meal is a good idea too.

Final verdict on Pho Witch

Pho Witch is a must-visit when you're craving Vietnamese food in Pyeongchon. The pho broth was clean yet filling, and it seems like it'd be great for hangover recovery too!! Since it's such a clear, refreshing broth.
