Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu Cheomdan is a 3-minute walk from Cheomdan Lotte Mart, right across from Cheomdan Gyeoja-ssi Church.

On a hot day like today you just lose your appetite, and nothing sounds all that appealing.

So today I made up my mind and came specifically for a good pork cutlet haha

The Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu Cheomdan dining room is spacious and clean. Even though there were plenty of customers at lunchtime, we sat down right away without waiting.

A proper local favorite alright! There really were a lot of customers.

The place itself is so spacious that we sat down and ordered without any wait.

And today too — I got the good window seat with a view!

I loved that there was still room even with a lot of people around at lunchtime.

At Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu Cheomdan you can help yourself to the side dishes you want from the self-serve bar. There's lettuce, ssamjang, danmuji (pickled radish), and kimchi.

There's also broth and soup ready to go.

I'm a true-blue Korean, so I can't eat rice without kimchi!

The kimchi was tasty, the lettuce was fresh, and with the warm soup and broth on top, my appetite slowly came back to life haha

Finally, the main event! It's massive! Truly living up to its name, Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu lol. The signature dish with two 25cm pork loin cutlets.

Ordered it crispy for dipping, then went for the sauce-poured version too haha

One bite in and the outside is nice and crunchy while the inside is surprisingly soft.

They use unfrozen pork loin, breaded and fried fresh in the restaurant every day, which is exactly why the crunch and the tenderness both hit so well!!

The second you cut into it, the cheese stretches out — an instant visual win for my taste! And the cheese wasn't just a lot of it, it was nutty and full of flavor too.
