Bueokgan Sangmu Branch sits right next to the Seogwangju branch of Starbucks, just slightly off the busy strip where Sangmu's popular restaurants cluster, so I could eat in a more relaxed atmosphere.

There's terrace seating outside too, which looked great for an alfresco meal on a nice day — the mood is really photogenic, so it'd be a nice spot to snap some pictures while eating brunch.

I ordered the rocket prosciutto pizza, carbonara and lasagna 😋

First, the rocket prosciutto pizza had a light, clean dough piled generously with rocket (arugula) and prosciutto, and the fragrance of the greens paired really well with the prosciutto 🍕 Not too heavy but still deeply satisfying — I'd recommend it as your pizza pick • •

Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes so I had high expectations, and sure enough it was delicious 🤤 Between the layers, the sauce and cheese were packed in generously for a soft, rich taste, the cheese and tomato sauce worked beautifully together, and it was even better eaten warm.

The carbonara had a thick, rich, savory sauce that I loved, and it wasn't too greasy, so it actually went well alongside the pizza too — the noodles were great as well 🍽️

Overall, Bueokgan Sangmu Branch has such a wide range of dishes that you could pick anything from brunch to pasta, pizza or steak.
