Gwacheon hair salon for ash brown gray coverage: One and Only Hair

As summer was ending, my hair had become dry and tangled often, so I visited One and Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station branch (원앤온리헤어 과천청사역점) after work. This time, I had a four-step hair-care treatment using Ojuá products.

Where is the hair salon, and is parking available?

According to the original listing, it is a two-minute walk from Gwacheon Government Complex Station. The salon is in units B05–B08 on basement level 1 of the Hanyang Sujain Officetel at 15 Byeolyangsangga 1-ro. Parking and bringing pets are also listed as available.

When I went down to basement level 1, the clean storefront and interior caught my eye. The hours listed in the original are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, closing at 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 p.m. on Sundays.

What were the reservation process and salon atmosphere like?

I booked through Naver and was assisted right away when I arrived. The interior was fairly spacious and well maintained, and the staff member in charge was kind, so I felt comfortable during the treatment.

Ojuá products were used for my treatment that day. After I sat down, I could choose a drink from an Americano, tea, or juice.

I asked for an iced Americano, and they brought toast with it. I was hungry because I had come straight from work, so I was glad to have it.

How was the four-step Ojuá treatment done?

Before the treatment, I was told what role each step played. The explanation was as follows.

• The first product prepares the hair so the products in the next steps can absorb well.
• The second product adds moisture, reducing dryness and making the hair softer.
• The third product comes in a foamy form and helps lock in the moisture added in the previous step.
• The fourth product coats the hair so the products applied earlier do not wash out, then smooths and tidies it.

Before starting the clinic treatment, I first had my hair shampooed.

At the time, my ends were split and very tangled. I was advised to cut them after the wedding photoshoot because the ends were especially damaged.

First, the staff carefully sprayed the first product onto my hair. After completing the remaining steps, I moved to the shampoo area, and the treatment took about one hour.

What difference did I notice before and after the treatment?

Before the treatment, my hair felt dry from the summer sun, and it tangled often in everyday life. Here is a photo of my hair before the clinic treatment.

After all four steps and a shampoo, I could feel a difference even while my hair was wet. When I ran my hand down it, it felt softer than before.

The thing I was most satisfied with after the treatment was being able to comb my hair with my fingers. I could run my hand through hair that had always tangled, and it felt noticeably smoother.

Did the softness remain about five days later?

I wrote the original post about five days after the treatment, and the smooth, flowing feel had lasted until then. I had been advised to cut the severely damaged ends, but I was satisfied that this treatment made my hair easier to comb with my fingers.

I was treated comfortably in a spacious, clean setting, and the staff member’s kind service also stood out to me. I would like to visit again for my next hair-care treatment.
