A sandwich brunch spot close to Seoul Station
Last Sunday, my husband and I were out and about in Seoul when we found a Seoul Station brunch gem that I genuinely want to revisit, so I came rushing over to tell you about it. (Excited!) It is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station 🥪 If anyone asks me for a great Seoul Station brunch spot, I might just tell them to look up at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station... There are so many sandwiches, and the quality is seriously good—I really hope you try them. And the chicken-breast sandwich is an absolute must. Period.
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is in the basement of the Grand Central building, close to Exit 4 of Seoul Station. It opens at 7 a.m., so it is great before or after catching a train at Seoul Station; it also looks like a handy breakfast or lunch option for people working in Grand Central or nearby offices.
Location and interior

Ride down the escalator and you can spot Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station in the distance.

First of all, Dance Dance Dance has such strong branding. I loved the stylish, kitschy design. I would also really like to visit its relatively brighter Hannam branch next time.
You can eat at the shared tables right in front. Plenty of people were getting sandwiches to go, but even though I visited around noon on a Sunday, there were more people than I expected. (I looked around while eating and the tables were nearly full.) It seems to be already well known as a Seoul Station sandwich spot, judging by how many people come not only for weekday office lunches but also on weekends.

You can choose your sandwich bread from three options: baguette, pollock roe baguette, and ciabatta.

There are also two kinds of scones that would be lovely with dessert :)

They also have gift boxes that are perfect for takeout. (The design is so cute.)

The guidance for eating the products and placing group orders is written out clearly, too. There seem to be quite a lot of group orders because there are so many offices nearby. If you cannot eat your order right away, they recommend refrigerating it and heating it in an air fryer.
Choosing the bread and sandwich menu

Dance Dance Dance, a great Seoul Station brunch spot, has such a huge variety of sandwiches on baguettes and ciabatta. There are options from chicken breast and egg potato to jambon jalapeño and tofu cream cheese, and it looks like new seasonal items come out too. I wanted everything, so I stood in front of the menu for ages trying to decide.
In the end, I ordered the Dance Brunch Set! You can choose baguette or ciabatta, and I went with ciabatta.

The Dance Brunch Set with chicken-breast ciabatta

This is the Dance Brunch Set. It comes with a chicken-breast ciabatta sandwich, mushroom soup, and an Americano, so it was just right for the two of us to share for brunch. One sandwich alone might have felt a little lacking, but the warm soup and coffee made it a more filling meal than I expected.

One Americano is included in the Dance Brunch Set, but since there were two of us, we added another. It had a nicely balanced acidity and nutty richness, and because the sandwich had a subtle sweetness and savoriness, it paired especially well with the clean-tasting Americano.

A chicken-breast sandwich that was not dry
The chicken-breast ciabatta sandwich I was most looking forward to! Honestly, when you hear “chicken-breast sandwich,” you do not expect much, right..?! I assumed it would be an ordinary chicken-breast sandwich too, so I was not expecting a lot—but you simply have to order it, no questions asked ^-^ It is generously portioned too, which I loved so, so much.

First of all, it tasted very different from what I expected. The filling was mixed until moist, and the chicken breast was chopped very finely, almost like tuna, so both the texture and flavor sometimes felt like a tuna sandwich. There was hardly any of chicken breast’s characteristic dryness, while a subtle sweetness and deep savoriness came through strongly—I want to pay for this recipe if I have to.. This was not an ordinary sandwich with only chicken breast and vegetables; you could clearly taste Dance Dance Dance’s own sauce and combination.

The crunch of the cabbage in the middle was excellent, and the ciabatta was not chewy but pleasantly crisp, which was also so, so good 👍 There were so many sandwich choices that I agonized over it, but after one bite, I immediately understood why the chicken-breast sandwich reviews were so positive. Even when I come back, I think I will order the chicken-breast sandwich again.

A brunch set made better with mushroom soup
The mushroom soup that came with the brunch set was tasty too. It was warm with a strong mushroom flavor, so it was nice to have a few spoonfuls before the sandwich, and it also went well with ciabatta lightly dipped into it. If the set had only been a sandwich and coffee, it might have felt a little ordinary, but the mushroom soup made it feel like a proper brunch set.

Next time I want to try a different sandwich too, but the chicken-breast sandwich was so delicious that I may end up ordering the same thing again.. If you are looking for a great Seoul Station brunch spot, I highly, highly!!!! recommend Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station :)
For two people, I recommend the Dance Brunch Set. The chicken-breast ciabatta sandwich is a must-order.
