Baekhyeon-dong pizzeria, marinara and shrimp rosé pasta: Raon Sik Tak

In short

Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is a wood-fired pizza and pasta restaurant on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. The writer ordered the marinara pizza for 16,000 won and the shrimp rosé pasta for 19,000 won, enjoying the chewy wood-fired crust, the plump shrimp and dipping the pizza into the rosé sauce. Raon Sik Tak has no parking, so use the Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot; the pizza-and-rosé pairing makes the short walk worth it.

There's a Western restaurant on the Baekhyeon-dong café street with amazing risotto, pasta, and wood-fired pizza, and the vibe is just too good ♥️ I'd been craving pasta and wood-fired pizza for a while, so I decided to visit Baekhyeon-dong 〰️ It seemed like it hadn't been open long — super clean and such a great atmosphere that it would be perfect for a wedding invitation gathering too.

Let me tell you about my meal of rosé pasta and wood-fired pizza at 'Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch,' a Baekhyeon-dong restaurant 🙌🏻

Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch doesn't have its own parking, so we used the Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot. By the time we parked, it was already full and the barrier wouldn't even lift. But spots seemed to open up fast.

Seeing the logo on this napkin, I realized Raon Sik Tak‼️ is the same place I used to eat at back at Dongpyeon Village, another café street in Anyang! Now I don't even have to go all the way to Anyang since it's close by in Pangyo — so happy about that >.< Besides wood-fired pizza and pasta, they also sell a variety of menus like gnocchi and risotto, plus set menus ✊🏻✊🏻

A great atmosphere for a wedding invitation gathering

The vibe at Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is genuinely great, so I think a lot of people planning wedding invitation gatherings would love to visit. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped abroad. Sunlight streaming in made the atmosphere even warmer. There's also a restroom inside!

What we ordered — shrimp rosé pasta and marinara

Every time, I start agonizing over the menu… pasta or risotto, or maybe a set? After a lot of deliberating, our picks were ✔️ shrimp rosé pasta 19,000 won and marinara pizza 16,000 won. So we went with a pasta plus a wood-fired pizza combo. Since the pizza is baked directly in a wood-fired oven, I figured it'd be delicious, so I ordered pizza for the first time in a while ~!

The pickles came out first

Marinara wood-fired pizza, ₩16,000

The marinara pizza arrived. It's a really so-basic pizza, but because it's baked in a wood-fired oven, the dough is super chewy and delicious, and with garlic on top the flavor really comes alive 👍🏻 The tomato sauce was tangy and so tasty too.

The dough is just so chewy that it's delicious ㅠㅡㅠ If you like your wood-fired pizza basic and clean-tasting, try the marinara. I was torn between this and the margherita, but I'm glad I chose this one — it was great.

Lifting up a slice of pizza

Shrimp rosé pasta, ₩19,000

Next up, the genuinely delicious shrimp rosé pasta. I think this might just be a must-order menu. The shrimp were super plump, and the rosé flavor combined with the toppings — zucchini, eggplant, tomato — was truly delicious.

Eating such delicious food on a café street with a great vibe after a long time put me in a really good mood.

Pasta and pizza served together on the table

The table next to us arrived after us and ordered the shrimp rosé pasta right away. This is clearly a menu you can't skip.. If shrimp is the one thing you're never picky about, this is a flavor people of all ages will love.

Dipping pizza into the rosé pasta sauce

Our verdict on eating both dishes together

The marinara paired really well with the pasta, and dipping the pizza into the rosé pasta sauce also worked surprisingly well ~? It had been a while since I tried Western food like this, and it was absolutely perfect! If you're heading to the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo, definitely visit Raon Sik Tak 〰️ Highly, highly, highly recommend!
