Main photo from the visit to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch

I was looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere in Beomgye and found a place where I thought, "Wait, the food is actually great too?" It's Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch! I was surprised once by the elegant, stylish interior when I walked in, and again by the taste once the food arrived.

My friend and I kept saying "This is so good," "Seriously, this is great," and "No wait, this one's good too!" I lost count of how many times. 😂 If you're looking for a great pasta place in Beomgye, please read to the end, because the combination of pasta, risotto and steak was really good.

Where is Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, and what's the atmosphere like?

Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is on the 5th floor of Park Avenuel, 15 Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil, Dongan-gu, Anyang, Gyeonggi. It's about 300m from Exit 3 of Beomgye Station, so it's an easy spot for a date or meeting friends.

The first thing I thought when I walked in was, "This is way nicer than I expected." Big windows, wood-toned tables, soft lighting, and flowers and framed pictures here and there give the whole place a gallery feel.

It isn't stiff and intimidating like a formal restaurant, but it's not an ordinary pasta place either, so it looked fine for dates, get-togethers with friends, or a family meal out.

The inner seating is calmer

The inner seating at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch has a different mood. Soft light reflects off the glass-block wall, and it feels a bit calmer and more private!

The place is large with plenty of seats, so it looked good for visiting in a group, too.

What's in the ₩59,000 signature set?

The signature set at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is ₩59,000, and after some debate, we ordered it. Here's what comes with it!

  • Spicy crabby risotto
  • Abalone innards cream pasta
  • Sous vide pork neck steak
  • 100% squeezed orange juice

It's not a set where only one main is good. Each dish has a totally different charm, so eating them together worked really well.

A happy start with starter bread

While waiting for the food, we tried the starter bread, and it was nice and light with the pickles. You're not supposed to fill up before the mains, but when something like this shows up, you just keep reaching for it, right? haha Then the food arrived shortly after.

Table set with the signature set's steak, risotto and pasta

With the steak, risotto and pasta all laid out on the table at once, the look of it alone was impressive. From that moment, my friend and I said at the same time, "Good order." hahaha

Is the thick sous vide pork neck steak dry?

The dish that surprised me most this meal was the sous vide pork neck steak. The meat is really thick, even in the photo, right? Honestly, a thick cut of pork neck can make you a little worried. 'Won't it be dry?' But the moment I took a bite, worry over. It's so tender.

It's thick like a steak, yet it was barely tough or dry at all, which really surprised me. Maybe thanks to the sous vide cooking, the meat is moist and tender, and the surface is nicely seared, so the flavor was good too. After one bite I turned to my friend and said, "Is this really pork neck? Why is it so tender?" haha

With the wedge potatoes, mushrooms and tomato served alongside, there was variety in a single plate and I never got tired of it. Personally, if I go back to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, this pork neck steak is something I'd want to eat again.

Spicy crabby risotto: real fine-dining flavor

Next up, the spicy crabby risotto. The orange cream sauce already looks rich, doesn't it? I took a spoonful... "Oh? This risotto is really good."

A spoonful of spicy crabby risotto

The spicy crabby risotto is thick and creamy with a slight kick of spice, so it isn't greasy at all. The savory depth of the crabby goes well with the cream sauce, and the sauce is properly soaked into the rice, so every bite was rich.

It's not just a decent cream risotto. It tasted much more like something from a fine-dining restaurant than I'd expected, so my friend and I kept marveling as we ate. A bite of steak, a spoonful of risotto... yes, you just keep eating. 😂 If you're looking for a risotto or pasta spot in Beomgye, I'd recommend this dish too.

Abalone innards cream pasta: is it fishy?

And the abalone innards cream pasta, which I was especially looking forward to. Dishes with abalone innards can be too strong in smell or taste a bit fishy if done badly, so they can be hit or miss. But the pasta at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch was different.

The sauce is really thick and rich, but not fishy. When you twirl the noodles and take a bite, you get the deep, nutty flavor of abalone innards together with the softness of the cream. I also liked that the sauce clings to the noodles, so the flavor never turns bland to the end.

My friend and I kept going back and forth: "Is the risotto the best?" "No, the pasta's no slouch either!" haha The conclusion... both were so good that we couldn't pick.

If you searched for a Beomgye pasta spot and ended up here, the abalone innards cream pasta is worth a try. I'd especially recommend it to people who love cream pasta but don't like it too heavy.

The squeezed orange juice comes as a bottle, not a glass

One thing I quietly loved about the signature set is the 100% squeezed orange juice. At first I figured, it's a set drink, so we'd get one glass each? But it comes as a generous bottle like this. It even has ice in it, so you can pour it cold, and two people could share it plenty during the meal.

When you're eating cream pasta or risotto and take a sip of fresh orange juice, your mouth feels totally reset. That made the menu combination feel even better. Putting zesty orange juice between potentially heavy dishes like steak, cream pasta and risotto was a stroke of genius!

Is the ₩59,000 set enough food for two?

The ₩59,000 signature set is quite generous for two people. When we first ordered, I wondered, "Will this be enough for two?" but once everything came out, the portions were pretty hearty. One steak, one pasta, one risotto, plus squeezed orange juice made it a perfect setup when two people want to try a bit of everything.

Best of all, because it's a set, there was no feeling that one dud dish was mixed in. The pork neck steak surprised me with how tender it was, the risotto surprised me with its refined flavor, and the abalone innards cream pasta surprised me again by being rich but not fishy. The whole time, my friend and I kept going "This is good." "No, try this too." "We could totally come back here." 😂

Looking for a good place in Beomgye? Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is my pick

Atmosphere inside Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch

I went to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch expecting just a Beomgye restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but in the end the food was what stayed with me more. My personal highlights were the elegant atmosphere, the generous set, and how well-made each dish was.

If you're looking for a date spot in Beomgye, want a slightly nicer meal with a friend, or are searching for a Beomgye pasta spot, I'd recommend it. I was satisfied enough that next time I'd like to try the pizza or other pasta dishes. :)

I thought it was just a pretty place, but the food is good too?

If I had to sum up Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch in one line, that would be it. 💛
