I came back to Raymond Isu Branch (레이몬드 이수점) while looking for somewhere near Isu Station to enjoy pizza and beer together.

The pizza was delicious on my last visit too, so this time I decided to choose some different items.

A great place to choose several options by the slice
At Raymond Isu Branch, you can order pizza by the slice as well as by the whole pie, which makes it a great place to enjoy a variety of choices.

It is also nice for a light meal with a slice of pizza and a beer, so it is one of the places that comes to mind when I make plans around Isu Station.
A clean, casual dining atmosphere

The interior had an overall clean and casual feel, making it easy to settle in for a meal.

It felt like a nice spot to visit with friends and chat over food, and in the evening I imagine plenty of people come by to enjoy pizza and beer together.

I especially liked that every table has an ordering pad, so you can take your time looking over the menu and order comfortably. There are lots of pizza varieties, and since slices are available, it is easy to pick exactly what you want.
The pizza, beer, and pasta I ordered this time

- Bacon Hawaiian slice pizza
- Pilsner lager craft beer
- Pepperoni tomato spaghetti
With pizza, pasta, and beer together, it felt less like a quick bite and more like a proper meal.
How was the Bacon Hawaiian slice pizza?

I started with the Bacon Hawaiian pizza. Sweet pineapple and savory bacon on Hawaiian pizza—really, how could that combination not be good!
The pizza arrived warm, with soft, stretchy cheese and generous toppings, so even one slice was quite filling. I especially liked that the crust was not too heavy. When pizza dough is overly thick, a few slices can fill you up fast, but this one was pleasantly chewy without being burdensome, and I enjoyed it right through to the crust. The sweetness of the pineapple and the saltiness of the bacon also made it a really good beer snack.

Paired with pilsner lager craft beer
On this visit, I also ordered a pilsner lager craft beer with the pizza. You simply cannot leave beer out of a pizza pairing, right?
It was clean and refreshing, an easy-drinking style that went well alongside the pizza. After a bite of pizza with a salty topping like bacon, a sip of beer felt like it cleared the palate! If you are visiting to enjoy pizza and beer together, I think this is a very well-matched combination.
Adding pepperoni tomato spaghetti too

Pizza alone did not feel like quite enough, so I added a pasta dish too: pepperoni tomato spaghetti.

The tangy, rich character of tomato sauce was joined by the savory flavor of pepperoni, giving it a different appeal from the pizza. The noodles worked well with the sauce, making it nice to eat between bites of pizza, and the tomato sauce cut through the richness, so I was glad I ordered it with the pizza.
Ordering pizza and pasta together was fun because I could alternate between the dishes.
Why it is a good spot for pizza and beer near Isu Station
Once again, I left very satisfied overall.

I think the biggest advantage of Raymond Isu Branch is being able to order pizza by the slice. When ordering a whole pie feels like too much, you can choose one slice of each flavor you want, and when several people visit, everyone can try a variety of their preferred options.
With craft beer and pasta available too, it seemed useful for everything from a simple pizza meal to evening drinks. If you are looking for good pizza near Isu Station or somewhere to have a beer with pizza, it is worth stopping by. This time, I happily enjoyed the Bacon Hawaiian pizza, pilsner lager, and pepperoni tomato spaghetti combination. 🍕🍺
